The vacuum cleaner is not as sturdy as other top brands. Overall clean is average, had to do a lot of adjusting with the vacuum head, poor quality. Also accessories also poor quality. I really like this vacuum cleaner. It is nice and light and easy to set up and take apart for storage. It is not a 'silent performer' at all, but I don't expect silence when I'm vacuuming. The cord retract function and the bagless system are really good. The only thing that would improve it would be extra heads for corner cleaning etc. For its size and price, it is great.
I had an Ultra Silencer previously which I ruined by using it to vacuum up renovation material including plasterboard dust - whoops. So went to buy another Electrolux as we had heaps of spare bags still. One thing that was annoying with my old one is that that bag hatch door started to become difficult to close. This new model actually opens from the back exposing the whole top which im hoping will not have the same difficulties. First impressions are that is cleans just as well. I like the dial on the vacuum head to change between flooring types - is very slim so can go under furniture without getting stuck. Has a similar length long cord, uses the same* bags and HEPA filter. Worry they could break in due time - The accessary holder on the hose is in a weird place so its always falling off as I either bump it or handle it in error I prefer bagged vacuums as I haven't found a bagless one that wasn't a pain to empty, that didn't stop working if you vacuumed anything other than dust (small bits of paper cause them to loose suction) and they are terrible to clean out the filters without getting filth everywhere and on you. So this vacuum is just ok. Time will tell if it lasts.
Great price! Runs well. Power cord nice and long.Bag are the way to go,with less mess. Bags are only 4 in a pack. Little bit up there.But shop around online. I found, mine down the line. for a bulk deal. Electrolux!! Please bring out, washable vacuum cleaner bags for all vacuum cleaners. Please!! It's the way to go.
Was not happy with this vacuum and the fact that it had been out before because it had hair on it and was very hard to push on anything but the first power setting so I took it back. The staff were so understanding they bent over backwards to find me a vacuum that was good for my tile floor and at a good price too. I'm so happy with the new vacuum. Thanks so much to all the staff, you are all so very kind and understanding and I will continue to shop at your store. Thanks :) PS: My new vacuum is a Samsung Jet 70 Pet Stick Vac and its so good :)
I've had many Electrolux over the past 4 decades and have always been pleased with the quality. This vacuum does not disappoint. The shell is somewhat lighter than previous vacuums I have had, but that might be a bonus to some. The power of this vacuum is incredible and I love how well it picks up from the sides of the vacuum heads. I also love that all of the attachments can be fitted on the vacuum so you don't have to stop and go get the brush tool or a different head.
Too much suction for any floor type and even on lowest its really hard to move and Im a strong woman.. I preferred my ergo space where tools were onboard as this one stores on the wand so they fall off all the time. The bag assembly is cheap and flimsy compared to my old ergo space and the new little plastic washers to join wand sections, well, I see them wearing out or going missing in time. If you want to suck the leaves right off a live tree from 2m away you can with this vac as its suction is massive but overall I just wish they would have made another ergo space as that thing went forever and sucked like a trooper and was all over a perfect design. Its a full on workout to vacuume with this so no need to go to gym, Even on lowest setting over carpet, Lino and tiles in 3br home. ( so dont buy for someone lacking big muscles). The second head is pointless as who bothers to change heads for floor surfaces. Also dont like I have to bend or pick up head to switch from brush to no brush on the auto head as its a switch dial not a foot pedal anymore and auto is really the only setting where you can actually push the wand around on any floor type on low. This Silent origin is a Bit overpriced in my opinion compared to the features and quality of the ergospace of many years ago. Im already looking for a stick vac to replace this one for my everyday vac as this one is just too physically demanding to use everyday with a toddler. Love that its got so much suction and is quieter than most but the lowest needs to be lower for practical use.
thus vacuum is doing the job required but unfortunately the power cord has not worked properly since purchased. this power cord will not retract easily and is difficult to work efficiently. i would recommend this product to a friend but with limitations.
