Elite Qubo Power Mag Smart B+ Trainer

Elite's Qubo is a magnetic drive unit with an integrated Misuro B+ wireless speed sensor, allowing you to use your Bluetooth or ANT enabled Android or iOS device as a powerful, multi-functional trainer head unit. The strong power magnetic resistance unit comes equipped with 8 levels of resistance that can be controlled from your bike's handlebar through an innovative trigger adjuster. The Qubo's cutting edge frame offers a wider footprint than before with adjustable feet for improved stability and lower bike height, making mounting also easier. With the Qubo, there is also no need to calibrate roller pressure. The rider's weight presses the tyre firmly into the roller, ensuring automatic adjustment and easy set-up. The frame of the Qubo was also crafted so that it repositions the rear drive unit, this allows use with fat-tyred 29ers. The Qubo's ElastoGel roller delivers the rider with improved tyre grip, as well as a reduction in tyre wear, while vibrations and noise are both far less than other rollers on the market.

I am very disappointed with this, it does not accurately measure speed or distance. Which makes it difficult to achieve any of the training goals on Xwift.I would advise anyone looking for a turbo trainer NOT to buy this

Goodnight. I am very interested in buying this object, my question is if it is compatible with my bicycle, the reference is the "Scott double spark RC 900- Comp, double suspension. My bike is a hub and has the sram group of 12 speeds. And finally the location of the store

Good like this, you can watch the training from your cell phone or tablet or TV, my husband has a 29 Scott bicycle and mine is a 27.5 bicycle. Is this useful for our training at home?

Do your homework

If I’m not mistaken this is the cheapest out of Elite smart trainers, so my expectations were not high, just wanted something to keep my legs rolling during Melbourne winter. Yes, pretty easy to connect to Zwift but I found out that this model doesn’t change resistance in accordance with the terrain. Not really a big deal, just have to keep up the watts with your legs, looking at the gradient and the speed going up hill. On the Zwift website it has a list of trainers saying which one does what, so it might be worth having a look. No problems connecting with Bluetooth but no success with ANT+ despite the contrary claims here.

Nice and functional and quite simple to assemble. Tried once but I would say stable and quite quiet and with sufficient difficulty levels (8). I have yet to test connectivity but even so it does what it was made for. Satisfied with the purchase!

First time using a Turbo Trainer
3 June 2019

I had never used a TT before this one but it was very easy to set up. I didn’t like putting my black painted quick release into the bare metal clamp as I knew it would scratch it which it has but I assume if there was a solid rubber protector then the bike would work it’s way lose. I connected to ZWIFT and I am getting some great workouts. The whine from the TT is expected and not all that loud. Very pleased with this TT.

Suprised at how much resistance it can create, really gives a good workout! Links with Zwift easily. Easy to construct. Good quality and sturdy

Arriving in a few days - well packaged, just as advertised.Seemless bluetooth pairing to the Elite Training App.Only concern is the cable level-change - feels very light in construction as if it will wear out long before the legs.Time will tell!

Calibration process is pure guess work. Paid three hundred euro in Jan 2021 when trainers were in short supply across europe

Some issues
6 April 2020

Connection of the bluetooth sometimes drops unless I position the computer to the side of me. The rolling noise, vibration and reduction in power output were significant with my standard tyres, but that was rectified when I purchased a slick tyre.
