My hubby tried the packet with some green tea this morning as well and said it was a great addition to his morning drink! I’d like to highlight that the taste is very artificial (just imagine the taste of raspberry candy and that’s basically it) so, unless this is a flavor you love, it might get a bit tiring for every day use. Emergen-C is just so big boost of vitamin C for your immune system if you're feeling like you're coming down with a cold. There's no harm in taking it daily 'just cause,' but there's better methods of getting your daily C if that's your motive. Buy a bottle of ascorbic acid and take a little daily. Careful, cause too much C will result in your body getting rid of it through a good ol' #2. I keep Emergen-C in my lunch box at work just in case I get that funny feeling in the back of my throat. I pair this with Zicam and oregano oil capsules (look it up). That all usually helps me to kick the bug or at least shorten the cold. This is something we'll always have alongside our cold meds. Yesterday I was feeling yet another cold coming on, the bad kind. I made myself a quick cup of emergen-c and chugged it. I felt nearly 100% better after drinking that! I liked using emergen C when I'm sick or before I feel bad. It seems to work well and it's an easy way to get lots of vitamins as well as hydration. I can't stand the orange flavor they sell, but I LOVE the taste of raspberries and the aroma of pink lemonade they make.Excellent in taste, in convenient single-portion bags, great for traveling and on the go. I stir one sachet in a glass of cold water, forming an excellent, healthy, low-calorie "sweet" drink to satisfy the craving for sweets. It also contains zinc. It's good to avoid many colds, and it's a good antioxidant.

Love these! Magic raspberry powder! A great source of vitamins If your body needs the extra boost. The raspberry flavor is my favorite and sometimes instead of mixing it with 6oz of water, I’ll mix it with like 3, drink it quickly, then follow it up with a big glass of water. Now, levels of vitamin c in your body are regulated by your kidneys and can take weeks to get out of your body. Overconsumption of vit C can cause digestive issues (if you have more than your daily percentage Intake, your kidneys can only absorb so much so the rest basically just goes away and makes you have maybe diarrhea). So, don’t overdo it! It’s common to think a lot of something healthy is good for you, but not in the case of vitamin C. Stick to one a day. ☀️

Luckily, Influenster sent me this Spring into VoxBox which included the Theraflu, Clorox Wipes, and even the cute little lavender press-on nails, since I do not frequent the nail salons. They also sweetened (or so I thought) the box with these Emergen-C raspberry-flavored packets complimentary to try in exchange for my honest opinion of it. I just added it to my water bottle with about 8 ounces of water and shook it up. ((A PRO-TIP:: MAKE SURE THE WATER IS COLD AS IT IS A LOT EASIER TO DISSOLVE THE POWDER PLUS IT TASTES BETTER!! YOU CAN ALSO ADD IT TO A SMOOTHIE {that’s what I did the SECOND day I used this and boy does IT TASTES SO MUCH BETTER than the plain ol’ water!!!})) Well, let me just say, as soon as I put it to my water, it smelled of heavy vitamins, so I am sure that I got a good hefty dose of it by drinking it. It does not taste good at all. I was expecting a more of a raspberry taste, but I did not taste like raspberry at all; perhaps because I used too much water. The more water you use, the more diluted it is. It suggested using 6 to 8 ounces of water. I used more like 8 ounces of water. The only way I could get it down was by chugging it. Perhaps the vitamins in it caused this to taste so horrible — I think the best way to describe it is that it tasted like minerals. Hmmm, think mineral water. That is the best way I can describe it. It is not pleasant at all. It took me back to when I was a kid, and I had to take medicine. Once before, I had used the orange flavor and added it to orange juice for my son when he played football in the rain. However, since this was a raspberry flavor, I did not think orange juice would taste well mixed with it. Despite the taste being off-putting, I can honestly say that I felt “refreshed” after chugging it down and the uneasiness of the vitaminy-mineral water taste subsided. Even though it tasted terrible, I guess if it took me knowing that it SUPPORTS my immune health, and that is enough motivation for me to drink it, and the only way for me to drink it is to chug-a-lug it down. By me doing this, I know that it supports my immune system. And since my immune system is usually compromised, I need all the support I can get! I think this is worth me stomaching this down. If I have to factor the taste alone, it is a 1-star; however, the product's effectiveness garners it a 5-star, so combining the two together and meeting in the middle, then that is why I can satisfactory rate it as a solid 3-star product.
