Awful design

This dishwasher is awful. Despite having a glasses cycle the top rack does not hold wine glasses. The bottom rack is light weight. Falls off the runners every time you pull it out. The cutlery box is too small to hold knives and forms. They fall out all the time. Utensils and bigger knives fall through top rack. We only went cheaper as our last $1500 Bosch DW didn’t even last four years. Overall a this DW is a terrible design and I would sell it today if II could.

I have never written a review until today but this dishwasher is the worst thing I’ve ever brought. I’ve tried every tablet, rinse aid and dishwasher cleaner in the supermarket and nothing helps to get the doses clean. I have never once had a cycle that I didn’t have to hand wash dishes after. WORST EVER!!!

Pros. The external appearance is very pleasant and rather slim lined.Cons.The internal parts are rather flimsy...for example; the drawers are very lightweight and fly out of the dishwasher almost as if they're going to come off the tracks. The compartment for the dishwashing tablet is too small for even a small tablet with very little depth, hence the flimsy latch doesn't close properly. I often find parts of the tablet on the bottom of the dishwasher after running it, as the latch has given way.The width between dish spaces seems too narrow, as a standard Finish dishwasher cleaner bottle, doesn't fit between them.Just be aware, that the shortest cycle is 30-mins with the next one being 90-mins with nothing in between. God Awful
26 June 2021

I can only describe this appliance in these terms. Honestly, I've had it for about a year -- and it's going from bad to worse. I've tried various setting and used different dishwashing tablets, etc. After the cycle, I end up hand-washing all mugs, and about half of the dishes. I'm seriously considering cutting my losses and just buying a Bosch or Miele. Whatever you do, don't buy this.

Great dishwasher!
6 September 2021

So happy with this dishwasher. Minimal water usage and electricity were my main key requirements and this one fits the bill! The price is awesome. The dishes comes out sparkling every time. The noise level is very low. Super easy to move top rack to high or low position. I’m very happy with the product!

Great functionality and great price
28 September 2019

I had an expensive brand dishwasher for 12 years, and I'm not saying this one will last that long, however needed a dishwasher straight away and didn't want to take out a mortgage to get one. Its super quiet, we adjusted the top tray to fit more in the bottom tray. It is smaller than what we had before but no big deal. The quick 30 min wash does a great job but its just a wash - no drying. Otherwise the eco wash dries perfectly. I haven't even used the delay start yet. Appliances online are great too. We've just ordered more items from them too

I'm quite happy with it

I've bought it half price during a promotion, I'm happy with my dishwasher. It has quite few programs and options, ECO cycle is just 30 mins which is amazing! I load it everyday, sometimes twice a day. The dishes are reasonably dry and always clean. It has a child lock function too, which was important for me.Plus an amazing Appliances Online service as always.

Overall I’m impressed
10 February 2022

Having to buy a new dishwasher came at a really bad time for us, and wasn’t all that happy having to downgrade (in my opinion) from my previous dishwasherBut, the Emilia was less than half the cost of the machine I wanted, so I had to buy it.I have been very surprised with the performance of the machine. It washes the dishes perfectly well.My only two complaints, (if you want to call them that,) is that the machine operation is not “silent” like my previous machine. The Emilia is a bit louder, but not disturbing loudPlus, the bottom rack definitely doesn’t “glide” as well as dearer models. In a nutshell, we are happy with the performance and at less than half the cost of a more well known brands, you can’t go wrong!

Reliable

After two weeks of use I am very happy with this dishwasher. Some reviewers have said it leaves dishes wet, but when using rinse aid I haven't found this an issue. A few drops of water remains on plastic items, and water pools in recesses (such as the bottom of upturned mugs), but the Emilia leaves dishes drier than our old Euromaid. I certainly haven't felt the need to engage the "extra drying time" feature. Two small quirks:1. If you load large items (such as dinner plates) at the front of machine, they can block the detergent draw and it won't open during the cycle. If you follow the loading instructions it won't be an issue, but I haven't encountered this problem with other dishwashers.2. Out-of-the-box the upper draw was mounted low in the dishwasher. In this configuration 28cm dinner plates will block the upper spray arm and stop it rotating. Since I imagine the majority of customers will want the draw mounted higher, I think it should be mounted that way at the factory.Of course it's easy to work around those shortcomings, just something for newbies to be aware of.I've only used the default Eco cycle, which is fairly slow but works well. Quiet too, at least by my standards.Overall I am very happy with the purchase, especially considering that this is one of the cheapest dishwashers available.

The best dishwasher I've ever owned
29 August 2019

My expensive 6yr old dishwasher started to play up. I thought I'd give the Emilia a try. I am so happy with the results from the first wash that I can't believe this machine outperforms other more expensive units I've had before. Excellent washing, adjustable rack, easy to understand controls showing the progress, and the delayed start means I can do a wash any night and save money. My dishes came out dry and VERY clean. I also had a technical question which was handled immediately and courteously by the (warranty) service company. I am totally satisfied with my purchase and the fabulous service from Appliances On-Line. So much so that I don't bother going into retail stores anymore. Oh, and it is quieter than my previous machine and looks way more expensive than it is!
