The one I have is a great disappointment. Digital readout is less accurate than spirit level. I would really like this level if it were as accurate as a spirit level, although I was hoping for even more accuracy. If all you care about is +/- 0.1 degree, it is fine. But your eye and an average spirit level is more accurate.

So great I when ordered 48 inch level digital Empire from Homedepot store. HomeDepot at Lander store has excellent Custom Service. Reading digital LED great bright light. Thanks you.

Good investment

Ripper level, so much for going buy eye. The beeper is great as tells you when the level is coming in, plumb & going out. Very handy when you're juggling things & only have one hand. Wish it had a hard case, but that's about it. Good investment.

Solid bit of kit

A great level. So sturdy compared to what I’m replacing. It feels rock solid and the digital display and audio feedback is brilliant.

The light is the only good thing

Just brought this level and the instructions don’t seem to work, item 2 in the vial sync section doesn’t do what it supposed to do, “press the mode and inspect buttons at the same time. CAL will appear on the display.” The only way CAL comes on is to turn it off and go to step 3Even called the manufacturer twice thinking I was doing something wrong and they couldn’t help they even emailed me the same instructions. And when I think I have calibrated it I turn it around I get a different reading. Will try to swap it and if it still plays up will keep using my old smart level

This level has worked out well for setting cabinets. Really like the auto calibrate and signal to give you 0 level. Definitely worth the investment if you’re looking for a upgrade.

This is an electronic upgrade of an old standard, the bubble level. This unit is a 24 inch model. It features a very nice carrying case and it is magnetic so it will hold itself to metal surfaces. The level seems well thought out with plenty of modes depending on the task you're trying to accomplish. The LCD screen is clear and easy to read. The backlight is especially helpful in low light situations. The level is user friendlh with audible alerts to when you're on target. Level comes with a nice case and if you purchased the 16 inch version as well to both fit in the case.

I've got a handful of 24 and 48 inch levels around my garage. I've kind of always wanted a digital level, but I wasn't sure if they were accurate. I don't do professional work anymore, but I've done plenty in the past. I didn't think a level like this would hold up in a DIY environment, let-alone a professional environment.So, I got this one and did some experiments.I built a raised bed garden at 4 feet by 4 feet. I double checked it with my conventional level, as well as the digital level. See attached picture. The digital level was MUCH better than my eye and the bubble level. My wife was worried about the dirt and water, but I told her to abuse it and not worry about it.I also hung some drywall in my garage. But, after using the digital level, I'm sure I'm not going back to a straight bubble level ever again. I'm going to buy the 4 foot and probably even a larger 6 or 8 foot level.Also, it's a nice aluminum chassis. Of course, the solid-state electronics are actually more durable than a bubble level, so I really don't have any worries there. The electronics are probably rated at 200g's or something crazy like that, much higher than any bubble level.Overall, I'm definitely going to switch to digital levels. It's just too easy to look over and line it up without having to hold your head and eye "just right" to get it close. Yeah, for a professional framer, I'm sure they don't care all that much as long as it's close, but for my personal projects, it's worth it to me to be right on the money.
