The biggest problem is that these are a specialty battery that is impossible to find in your store. I went to the store 4 different times and asked Home Depot employees where I might find them. When I was checking out one of the cashiers asked if I needed help finding anything. I explained to her what I was looking for and she says "oh they are right here" and finds a row of then near the check-out section. The first 3 times I tried at Home Depot, they told me they were a specialty item, and I should maybe try Wassem's in Clarkston. These batteries go in doorbells and those items are located clear at the back of the store. A23 batteries

I recently ordered a battery operated door chime. I was checking to see that I would have enough batteries to use it, when I discovered this new (to me) battery size. I looked around for availability and the best price I could get, and my local Target had them in stock. Thank you, Target. I still prefer in store shopping to online ordering, whenever I can get what I need, so I can see and feel what I'm buying before I buy it.

BUY LOCAL n BRAND names

When its financially within reason, reasonably competitive priced, i TRY to buy local to support the community Big bx store or proverbial little guy. I paid the few dollars xtra buying from Big Blue vs online or budget version batts; experience has shown and proven to me buy brand name batts off LOwes even if few percent more I am getting FRESH, in-date, lotta-life-still-left batts verses NEVER knowing what ur gonna get online, legit not knockoff or old-stock. At least in store, you can verify date codes, have reasonable-reliable certainty ur getting the REal THing Brand that will LAST. I got these for my garage remotes. Withotu a backup 'punch-pad' and no idea where actual new key was lost...I need a reliable Brand batt. Fixed my fan remote!

Honestly, I had no clue that this size battery even existed. The only reason I discovered it did, is because my fan remote suddenly stopped working. Pulled off the back cover and found this battery installed. Did a Walmart pick up order, the associate found this battery that I never seen before, I brought it home and put it in. Everything works again! Does the job…

Location

This battery was for a ceiling fan remote. Was listed as in stock with a location description on the Lowe’s app. Tried to find on my own, asked for assistance twice, finally found an employee who knew where to find it and had the key to the cage. Battery was mis-shelved but after a few minutes search found it. Battery fit and now the ceiling fan can be used again.

One of the batteries in the package was defective

We purchased a pack of two Energizer A23 batteries. One of the pieces worked, and the other piece was defective (no electricity). We don't have any extra batteries of this brand name at home, and our old batteries were not the Energizer brand. We brought it back to the store, but the staff on the management team didn't believe me. He told me that he wasn't sure if the computer system would allow returns for battery packages that have been opened. I stood there for about 5 minutes waiting for him. After 5 minutes, he asked his staff to check if they could do an exchange for me. In the end, they were able to exchange it for me.

Stay away

Be warned Energizer batteries absolutely do NOT honor their warranty!! I threw away 8 batteries and told them as such, they asked for pictures, then more pictures, then more pictures, i sent 7 and they still asked for more. I told them I'm happy to send the bad batteries not throw away to them, just send me a prepaid sticker, UPS, FedEx, USPS either one, all they did was asked for more pictures. This is a joke to them. Stay away. I'm trying Amazon batteries, so far so good and much, much cheaper. Any class action attorneys? Contact me.
