Bought both double AA and Triple AAA batteries today as well as a replacement battery for Mercedes car key. The savings were great and I will definitely look out for their bargains again especially as they were not what I went in for. Well done RD

I usually try to buy my batteries from Robert Dyas - they are great value and new. I have bought from other places and the batteries die quite quickly due to shelf-life expiry. Dyas is a good go to place to buy items.
These alkaline batteries certainly have a higher capacity, a longer shelf life, and are less susceptible to leakage than the cheaper Zinc batteries. Buying from a reputable source like Robert Dyas means you are getting the real thing which is not always the case when you buy online. Those I have used have appeared to last well and I have had no duff ones. Despite the well known battery adverts, the performance of all makes of alkaline batteries are much the same so it comes down to their capacity/price ratio in the end. I certainly would buy these again from Robert Dyas.
They were batteries. Literal batteries. AA's to be precise.
Always use Energizer for my gas fire (takes 6). They last considerably longer than other AA batteries. This pack has an Expiry date of 12/2029 - so very happy. Will buy again, but not too soon as they last so well! Recommended
Bought these batteries with high expectations, what a mistake. All batteries practically dead with little or no charge. All went straight into the rubbish bin. A total waste of money. Back to Duracells for me. Do not waste your money
A good value product from a name you can trust. I have used these before and found them to be acceptable when it comes to powering a number of items such as torches and children's toys. They last well and I have never felt cheated or out of pocket.
Well, what can you say about batteries? As long as they serve their purpose, make things work, then it should be ok isn't it? It is a bit too early to tell, as batteries have a certain life span, so how can I give a review after just a few weeks of receiving them? Or do you expect them to malfunction already?
