20yr shelf life, leak proof design, more power - what more could you ask for

I picked these up after reading a number of reviews about the 'best' AA batteries for long lasting needs and use in extreme hot and cold temps.I am waiting for the current batteries to wear out in my LED headlamp and then these will be put to the test. If the articles and reviews are accurate they should provide a good length of service and provide good power. With a 20yr shelf life, even if I don't get to use them right away, they should be good to go. I like that they are leak proof as I have had issues in the past when an electronic device gets left on the shelf and not used (kind of forgot it was there) as we have all done and then the batteries corrode and leak and the device is basically no good. For clocks, you may find that Energizer Lithium batteries drained after only a few months, instead of lasting several years as they should have. How did the criminals drain the Energizer lithium batteries if this happens? Most likely, they jammed up the clock to increase its drag, cutting off the flow of electricity just slightly by increasing the resistance and voltage and reducing the flow of current using their tracking radars.

Energizer batteries are definitely worth the price

Energizer is a great brand name and the batteries are great. We bought a cheap generic brand of batteries and our outside security cameras would not work correctly. The generic batteries did not even give us an expiration date. The Energizer might cost a small amount more but is definitely worth paying for. I will buy these batteries again.

Great batteries for cold & hot weather

I'm using these batteries for my outdoor surveillance cameras. They work great since they have an operating temperature range from -40° to 140°. Alkaline batteries would stopped working during our cold weather here - it was down to -16° recently with a windchill of -25°. My cameras kept on working. I would definitely recommend these lithium batteries!

Great for outdoor sensors in low temps

These lithium batteries seem to be quite superior to alkaline batteries in cold conditions. I replaced my HVAC outdoor sensor batteries with alkaline batteries, which resulted in low-battery warnings the next day! When I replaced the batteries with these lithium batteries, the temp dropped to 10 degrees, and they still kept working with no lo-battery warning. I also put them in my outdoor weather station and they are working great in cold temps!

These are great batteries, with unique (patented) characteristics. Higher initial voltage than alkaline batteries: 1.8 V vs. 1.5 V. Extremely long shelf life. High capacity. Lighter weight. Due to the higher cost, don't use them in devices that go through batteries quickly - rechargeables are a better choice for that. Best use are applications where capacity, reliability and long shelf life are paramount. These batteries contain metallic Lithium. Do not break open, throw them in a fire or otherwise abuse them. Dispose of through a local recycling program.

The Ultimate, long lasting, reliable battery!

This is the best battery! If you need a long lasting dependable battery, this is the one. No other battery, no matter the brand, comes close to lithium. We use these in hunting game cameras. They last all season. You do not get that from any other battery. They are worth the price! I was spending more money buying regular batteries and more time changing them out during the season than I wanted to. Now with the lithium, I put them in at the beginning of the season and they are still good at the end.

VALUE DIMINISHED

I use these batteries in security-use trail cameras. In operation 24/7. I use to get at least 12 months of life out of these batteries. But that seems to be changing. Now, I can find one or two batteries bad over a few months and sometimes a few weeks. Each camera takes 8 AA batteries. I used to buy an 8 pack for $7.99. Now they are $27 (and more)! I realize lithium is now in high demand for all-electric vehicles and more. Unfortunately, that leaves people like me that have had to rely on AA or AAA lithium batteries at a huge loss. Humans always seem to think they climb out of any hole, by digging another one!

Warehouse needs to check item amount!

I ordered these and double checked that it was sold by Walmart, and instead of the 24 pack they only sent 4. I have worked in a warehouse for online orders before and Walmart needs to update the system on the warehouse side to include that the amount is 24 and not 4 so that the person picking the item knows how many. Walmart is sending a replacement item so we shall see if they send the correct amount this time. I do see other people saying their batteries are expired but that would be impossible unless they’re selling 20 year old batteries lol. The numbers in white are the manufacture date (0821) and the numbers in black near the battery type (AA) is the expiration date, mine for example reads 12-2041.
