Thought I’d broken it when I dropped it onto a rafter but it must be strong as worked fine afterwards. Would buy again as it’s a reasonable price.

This product is exactly what I wanted - if it lived up to the product information - but it doesn’t!The torch keeps turning off after only about eight minutes of operation. Obviously the designers skimped on what you cannot see like the quality of the LED driver electronics.This is very frustrating. I totally agree with the other reviews. Only buy this product if you want to be continually frustrated and happy with wasting your time mucking around returning the product back to the store.
Bought this smaller torch to compliment the larger 2000 lumen torch of the same type. It is practical and works well, the batteries don't last that long but it does only use two AA batteries, whereas the larger one uses 9, so it will naturally not be able to last as long. Have not had any of the issues the other reviewers are experiencing. Perhaps if people are wanting a torch that they need to change the batteries less often in, then they should choose one that holds more batteries.
Good little torch with bright beam, very handy around the house, I'm using it to see the chooks are in their enclosure at night, light for travelling. Seems to be light on battery use. It didn't come with any instruction but I got clues on how you switch between functions by reading reviews.
Have had two of these now an they no good. first one lasted 2 weeks before it wouldn't turn on at all. ok so gave them a second chance an got another. Lasted 4 hrs before it too started to play up. Take batteries out , put back in , stayed on for 1 min then turned off. Switch hard to find. Working outdoors on nightshift you need reliability, which this product does not give,
Bought 2 of these at different times. Hoping the second one would prove to be better than the first, but no such good fortune. They work for a couple of weeks then the light dims, or flickers, or goes off, and you can clean the contacts, but it only helps a little. After a short while it’s frustrating to try getting it to come on. Really is a junk product.
Worked when I tested it after purchase, so put it in my emergency pack. Tested it again a couple of months later and it wouldn't turn on. Batteries were fine, and it hadn't been used or even moved in that time. I would steer clear of this flash light.
Frustrated with this torch. I purchased 2 for the cars should we break down at night. To date only used to take the dog to the toilet at night. Using batteries as recommended the torch will just stop, leaving me in complete darkness. Have definitely not used up the 4 hours @ 400 lumens as stated on the torch info. I would never want to depend on this torch in an emergency situation. Taking my 2 torches back for a refund, same goes for the Focus Headlamp. Plus it's $10 a pack of 4 batteries as recommended, and they don't last. I'm going back to my old torch that uses 4D black batteries that have been going for years.
