Helmet works like it should, has a plastic exterior shell that seems cheap made and isn’t attached very well. We store these in my tool box while commuting for rides and my wife’s ended up with some cracked areas on the shell. Still wears fine just seems like a Walmart helmet we have purchased for n the past. Helmets are comfortable reason for the 3 stars.

Can't return a helmet that is way too big

My 12 year old son saved his money and purchased this helmet for himself, but it is WAY too big and bulky on him and the straps can't even tighten down small enough... we would like to return it (as "easy returns" were advertised...) but apparently due to COVID, they're not accepting helmets! :( So now he's stuck with a helmet he can't use and is out of money to buy a different one. Bummer experience....

Good helmet but wish it included the MIPS technology.

First off this is a really great budget buy. Really nice designing behind it and has enough holes for vents when riding. Only thing I can really think of that’s missing is the MIPS technology. If it had that then that would make it a over the top helmet! Overall tho a quality helmet.

Great helmet and very lightweight. Would definitely recommend

Experience was fantastic. Medium fits me (5’10” adult with medium head in Mx helmets) perfectly. The mechanism to clamp it more tightly to your head is comfortable and it’s very protective.

Great helmet that doesn't fit perfectly
5 February 2021

I've had this helmet for 8 months now. It's a great helmet and live used it a lot. There's 2 things preventing me from giving it 5 stars:- It squeezes my head a bit front to back but it slightly big side to side- I love that the pads are removable for washing but they've started to fall apart with no replacement pads availableI was able to purchase generic replacement pads online and have dedicated this as my winter fat biking helmet. I usually wear a beanie underneath which helps resolve the fit issue. Other than that, it's light and durable!

Happy with the fit but...
4 September 2020

The fit and feel of the helmet is perfect. Super comfortable. However the helmet was shipped with the bike and was slightly scratched up in shipping due to the shipping companies poor care for the box. The back of the helmet has a wavy section where the plastic wrapping is not fully adhered to the rest of the helmet. It still works fine but just doesn’t look as good as it should. I hope it doesn’t come apart over time. Over all I would still buy again. Probably just a fluke.

Just fine

Bike works good -- im not experienced enough to have an opinion on this. I can say components for bikes are ridiculous in price, I mean seriously laughable. Show me any new tech? dropper post eww ahhh that should cost hundreds right ? what about the lever that controls the post better throw another hundred on that ? just an example.

Low quality even less comfort
23 May 2020

Very thin padding which doesn’t completely cover the Velcro attached to giant hard ribs in the foam. It’s almost like strapping three pointy spots of Velcro to your forehead. I couldn’t bare to wear it, I can’t even begin to imagine crashing in it! The hard outer layer of plastic which is supposed to be molded with the foam is also coming out of the foam upon arrival. I got the helmet for free when I bought my bike. It’s worth exactly what I paid for it! Please don’t spend money on it but if you get it for free then I guess it’s worth it if you don’t have anything else to wear on your first bike ride!

Light and comfortable helmet for MTB beginner. When i bought Siskiu D7 the helmet was included but only lime was available. I called to replace the lime to black and the lady said she’ll replace it but i still got the lime smh. A lil disappointed about that but i painted it red to match my D7

This bike is sick!
18 March 2020

I love this bike! I bought the 2020 D7. My friends who owned the local bike shop for 20 years couldn't believe how much I paid for it. He said it was easily comparable to bikes he used to sell for $2,500-$4,000. I'm still getting used to it since it's been a while since I have been on a bike but so far it handles the trail like a boss. Handles so well. It didn't have the dropper because the version with the dropper was out of stock but I'm going to have one installed soon. I highly recommend this bike.
