I learned several years ago through blood testing that I'm intolerant to gluten and casein. I gave up gluten completely, and thankfully I don't need to fear gluten contamination when I eat at restaurants, as long as I take a Digest Spectrum capsule with my meal. It also helps me to digest all of my food better. I haven't had the willpower to give up dairy completely, but taking Digest Spectrum when I indulge in dairy keeps my tummy happier. I take 1-2 capsules, depending on how much dairy I'll be consuming. The capsules are medium sized and not too difficult to swallow. I only wish they weren't so expensive!

I had an iron stomach until 2005, when I picked up a terrible infection in Mexico. PA gave me Ciprofloxacin, which DESTROYED my gut health. Haven't been the same since, but have come up with my own routine of probiotics, acacia fiber, etc. As I've gotten older, my digestive juices weren't enough on their own anymore, so I tried this after doing some research. It really does help, with both food intolerances and bowel movements. I am prone to IBS-D and this helps me have well-formed stools. Intestinal health is everything. If you have tummy issues, try this and you'll see the difference within just a couple of days. I take one with lunch and one with dinner, and that does the trick.

Just started taking this digestive enzyme. This brand is recommended on Medical Medium's website. Using it to help maximize digestion and gut health. I take one about 20 minutes before lunch and one before dinner. The price is great and much cheaper than on amazon.ca. I was looking for a digestive enzyme that could help with histamine. When I contacted the enzymedica company, they mentioned they don't have one specifically for histamine, but that I could look into the digest spectrum. So, I'm giving it a try. So far I feel it is helping. Less bloating and burping. Thank you! I will buy again.
Great for my daughter who has difficult to digest a lot of food. this is really helping her. she sometimes refuse to swallow, then i just open a capsule and spread on to her food, it quickly break them down to liquid form especially carbs i think. this is meant to be one of the best out there. and think it is a great deal. the price isn't cheap here in the UK, (cheaper on US dollar of course) but contains 120 caps and my daughter only takes 1 , twice a day. so its lasting quite a bit. i'll not hesitate to re-purchase in the future *nothing major but if you open a capsule and take in a powder form, the taste is horrible. better swallow if can..

For my gluten sensitivity- I find I definitely need the full dose. This is the only brand I use for the full digestive enzymes. The capsules are clear and completely sheer so you can clearly see the powder contents of each capsule. I think for the discomfort this saves me from, it's a definite great value for the money. To clarify, I have not been dx'd as having Celiac Disease, so I don't know if this is sufficient for a true Celiac patient. I tried a bottle of 30 They have given me back my social life. Was embarrassed by dodgy digestion where my stomach would rumble all night like old pipes. I would burp or pass wind uncontrollably. My son has been struggling with insomnia, fatigue and reflux after eating anything. He was diagnosed with gastritis. After nearly a year on omeprazole, we weaned him off as it wasnt helping. After going organic cutting out milk , gluten and sugar my son improved slightly. But his insomnia continued and his reflux and fatigue. Yesterday he had one of these with each meal and this morning he reported to me that he slept all night. I cant believe it. After visiting the doctors numerous times and them prescribing antipsychotics for him which didn't help , I hope now he can finally heal and digest all the good foods hes eating.
