I tried this gluten enzyme hoping it would help with digesting gluten, but I didn’t notice much improvement. While it didn’t cause any negative side effects, it didn’t provide the relief I was expecting either. It’s possible that it works better for others with milder sensitivities, but for me, it was just okay. I appreciated the convenience of the capsules, but unfortunately, I didn’t experience significant results. Might be worth trying if you have a slight gluten sensitivity, but not a game-changer in my experience.

GlutenEase is fantastic! I am blown away by this product. I passed it in the store once thinking it was too good to be true. When I saw it on MYSUPPLEMENTSHOP I decided to give it a try. I read the reviews, but I was still a little hesitant. What if I take it and my gut acts up and I suffer for days?! I took a big leap and tried it. I am a baker and the irony of life is that I have a gluten intolerance. I have had to be careful about what I eat for years and it is so depressing not to be able to enjoy making and eating the foods I love. When I took the capsule I ate two huge slices of banana nut bread for the first time without waiting for the bloating, constipation and bad break out to occur. Nothing happened, I was not bloated and felt fine. I don't know if I will ... MoreGlutenEase is fantastic! I am blown away by this product. Try not to consume too much daily. I went overboard and found myself taking about 3 maybe 4 per day. I really enjoyed the ability to eat the foods that I loved with the protection of this magic pill. I became so comfortable that I started consuming bites before I remembered to take the pill. Unfortunately, I overindulged and my symptoms started returning slowly but surely despite taking the pill. It's like my body became immune to the pill. I was told that I should have had on and off days to allow my body to adjust and heal. I am truly heartbroken. I have decided to not ingest gluten or this pill everyday to control the symptoms. I haven't thought of my plan moving forward. Because I feel despair. We deserve convenient food. I am in limbo having had negative bloods for coeliac but having most of the symptoms. I was not eating gluten at the time of the bloods as noone told me I should. Gluten affects me a day or two after eating it in many ways and the symptoms last for over a week. I tried eating non GF sausages and taking these tablets and they made no difference to my symptoms. I have also tried beer a few time using these tablets and again they made no difference. It appears that the only research that shows that these work was carried out by/on behalf of the manufacture!
I am intolerant to wheat and my symptoms include severe bloating, abdominal pain and upset tummy. I follow a gluten-free diet. I wanted to try this product to see if it would allow me to eat 'normal food' when travelling abroad next month, just to make things easier. I very nervously bought a normal pizza yesterday to experiment and took 2 tablets with the first bite (instructions said to take 1, but I wasn't taking any chances!). Long story short, I would say the Extra Strength tablets 'controlled the reaction' to the gluten. Perhaps naiively, I was expecting to have zero symptoms 🤔. My stomach did bloat and gurgle, I had slight discomfort and it did feel tight and hard, just alot less so than normal. My stomach did bloat and gurgle, I had slight discomfort and it did feel tight and hard, just alot less so than normal. Rightly or wrongly, I took another tablet after eating to see if it would take these symptoms away, it didn't. This morning (the morning after), tummy is still bloated and feeling a bit sore and bruised, for lack of a better word. I hesitated for weeks before trying this product, as it's a lot of money to waste if they don't work. Bottom line, for me, I'm disappointed. They definitely don't work well enough for me to want to use them to have an occasional real pizza or garlic bread (as in some reviews I've read). But worked well enough to cope if I was in a situation where gluten-free food was not available.
It works, you will not have gluten symptoms... but as another review mentioned, it feels like your stomach has been bruised and the stomach lining will be severely affected. I kept using them as they were so expensive, and finished the capsules eventually. I regret it so much. My stomach has been hurting, and other digestive enzimes now also trigger the pain, because I got too sensitive due to this medicine. Avoid it and go for a different version (as a big issue could be the high dosage of enzymes) or try a different make/ brand completely. I actually have no idea why the reviews are so high for these painful enzymes. Do not make the same mistakes as I did.
**I NEED to return these!!** I will definitely be looking at return policies of sellers more closely from now on. First, I have been taking these pills for 15 years to help with cross contamination and when I'd like to have a nice gluten filled treat, so I know HOW they work. Idk if I got some from a 'bad batch' or what, bc (as I noted already) I've been using these (gluten ease) enzymes for a long time and THIS bottle I received today IS NOT WORKING. I've been sick for about 3 hours now (thanks) and it's very discouraging that I am reading that these are not eligible for return. I'll be calling MYSUPPLEMENTSHOP. ALSO, why do these NOT have an expiration date? Again, I NEED RO RETURN THESE.
I purchased another company's product (I believe it was NOW's) which was half the price of this. I haven't tried them yet. These worked well but I had a very bad reaction on an evening where I had taken one of these and I was sick for a week. I cannot say for sure that it was this product but I'm mentioning it as a word of caution. I took one then went to a holiday party which had a lot of gluten. I pretty much ate what I wanted and also had 2 glasses of wine over the course of an evening. Not sure if I ate too much gluten? I did not have a flu, etc as I didn't have a fever..... Just felt like a train hit me for a week. So be cautious.
Im gluten intolerant and originally ordered this to ease the discomfort of being glutened or to take when eating out in places where cross contamination chances are high. I never imagined I could intentionally eat gluten and feel little to no effect. However, this magical little pill allowed me to eat a few gluten filled favorites on different occasions with just a little indigestion on day one and some slight bowel changes on day two. No where near what I would've experienced without the pill and well worth it! I was super skeptical that it would work and now I'm ready to order bottle number 2. Highly recommended!
I bought these for the first time about a month or so ago after reading about them online. I haven't been diagnosed with Celiac's, but gluten tears me apart when I consume it. I'm talking symptoms all over (headaches, body aches, rashes, nausea, fatigue, etc). I've been gluten free for about 2 years now, but I sometimes have small gluten exposures when cooking (spice mixes) or eating out (cross contamination), which leaves me feeling awful for days after. These capsules work fairly well for me. They keep my symptoms at bay, but because they're extra strength I sometimes get nauseous after taking them. It lasts about 30 minutes, then subsides. I think the enzymes are working to break down gluten, but they're really hard on my stomach so I feel woozy and sick for a ... MoreI bought these for the first time about a month or so ago after reading about them online. I would recommend trying them to ward off gluten symptoms, but with the warning that you may feel sick after taking them due to their strength. Sometimes if I take them on a full tummy the nausea isn't so bad, as opposed to taking them with a lighter meal.
