Cannot tell you how fab this simple product is! Its packaging is simple and you think will this do anything... but you have to try it! Literally on anything, I used it on my feet and within one application they were soft and supple again. Use as a lip-balm, its amazing. Used on my daughters nappy-sore skin, soothed it and healed it beautifully. I just love this product... the best bit is a little goes a really long way. Will definitely be buying this again and can see it becoming a family favourite. Try it you won't be disappointed.

I bought this having read the reviews and was optimistic about its results. I was not disappointed, I usually have good skin but found myself with a very concerning sore at the side of my nose. It looked like psoriasis. I was really anxious. I bought this ointment and within a few hours there was a noticeable improvement. After one day my sore is looking like a normal skin flare up, and has improved dramatically.I have confidence in this product and will continue to use it.

Originally prescribed this for my young daughter who kept getting impetigo on her eczema affected areas to help get her eczema under control. It worked wonders.Can use it as a skin wash or as a relieving ointment.Since then have found it can be bought without prescription and have found many more uses.Perfect for use on holiday to help prevent your skin from drying out and peeling. Or helping restore moisture to damaged skin be it sunburnt or grazed or extra dry. Used it on dry sore lips and hands....i could go on and on.Very versatile and easy to apply.Highly recommend

It is the best eczema ointment I have used - and I have tried quite a few. It leaves your skin feeling smooth and natural unlike many others which leave you feeling a bit icky. I purchased it for eczema but now also find it useful for dry feet and elbows. It stays on your skin and not on your clothes.
I don't suffer from any sort of skin condition but in Winter the skin on my face gets sensitive and sore. I use epaderm ointment as a cleanser. It's very at taking my makeup off without stripping my skin. If I take it off with a damp muslin cloth it leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth. It can be removed with damp cotton wool too. I also use it as a facial moisturizer. Just a tiny bit rubbed between my hands and then applied to my face. It sinks in really well and my foundation applies smoothly over the top.The consistency is a bit like Vaseline but unlike Vaseline, epaderm is water soluble and it actually sinks in rather than just sitting on top of your skin like Vaseline does.
Epaderm really is such an old reliable and a staple in a household with young kids. Doesn’t really smell of anything, doesn’t have a nice texture, but really does the job on keeping sensitive skin hydrated and smooth. Great for keeping eczema at bay.
A very effective ointment. This is highly soothing on any sore or itchy irritable patches of psoriasis and eczema. Both myself, my husband and young son use this and it has really helped. It is gentle and non-scented which is fantastic as there is nothing worse than the stinging from a scented product on irritated skin. Great melted into a bath for extra moisture and a good barrier too. My favourite use for this product though is as a lip treatment; it is brilliant. It soothes even the most chapped lips and doesn't have any horrible scent or taste which is awesome. I prefer the cream for cleansing but I will continue to use this and will be repurchasing. I bought this for my boyfriend who suffers with psoriasis on his lower legs and back and I wanted to find a product that didn't require a prescription. The reviews were great so I bought the Epaderm emillient ointment. He has found it to be better than Diprobase in terms of lasting a long time. He'll put in on his legs before bed and, unlike with Dirpobase, says he can still feel the benefit in the morning. No sign yet of an improvement in the skin quality as it's still early days, but an improvement in comfort is a huge step. Will be buying the larger tub!
I have extremely sensitive skin and react to many products, even those specifically for eczema or psoriasis. This is very thick but it can be used easily in the shower as an emollient cleanser and leaves skin supple and soft, yet perfectly cleansed. If my skin feels very uncomfortable, I apply a thick layer and leave it for anything between a few minutes up to an hour or more and then wipe of the excess with a damp face cloth. Its really improved the overall condition and appearance of my skin and can be used on face and body. Its useful that it comes in both small and large pots, as the smaller one is convenient for travel/gym etc. Highly recommend.
I work in social care so I have to wear gloves and wash my hands constantly. With time I developed very bad rashes. I tried every cream (including ones with hydrocortisone) and nothing worked. Epaderm is the best thing that happened to my skin. Rashes are gone and my skin is smooth. You could notice a huge difference after one use only.It leaves a greasy layer, though. So I would recommend using it only at home where you can enjoy all benefits of Epaderm.
