I use Iford Galerie smooth pearl for all kinds of prints. It is a plain, simple paper that resists finger prints and holds colors well. I keep sizes from 4x6, 5x7, 8.5x11, 11x17 and 13x19 in stock at all times. It works for everything for my needs.

Ive never written a review here before, but I want to warn others that after years of happily printing on this paper, I received two 250 sheet packages today that were completely defective. At first I thought my print heads were dragging, but upon close inspection, the paper itself had abrasions across every single sheet. Yes, all 500 had streaks down the length of the paper. It appears there was a problem at the factory and quality control didnt catch these. Ive asked BH for a refund, but now Im afraid to purchase this again. Not happy See attached images for reference.

I like the satin finish with just a hint of a pebbled texture. The 310 weight has the feel of old photo paper. I cant speak of longevity yet, only time will tell. Using it with a Canon Pixma Pro 9000 MKII and the Ilford ICC profiles, the color and exposure is spot on when printing thru CS5.
The best photo paper for any printing application. I use a Canon inkjet and the results are spectacular. I save a ton of dough over using this paper and my printer to produce very high quality prints for my use and for sale. I get great reviews.

I did accomplish that goal but the desired final product (a quality photo that popped) was eluding me. I need paper that wont fade quickly and I use lots of it. This paper is outstanding for both image quality and value. Use quality inks. I pair this paper with an Epson ecotank printer. Together they have dramatically lowered my costs and I have yet to have a print fade.
Excellent gloss finish with particularly beautiful character to clear water areas (they seem to have real depth). Also gives sparkling contrast between contrasting areas. Depending on the image type can provide a very nice difference from regular glossy prints. Terrific results for fireworks.
This is a fun paper to use. With the right subject matter, your images are more lively and dimensional. It reproduces detail and colors just fine when printed using 'pro glossy' printer paper settings. Subject matter such as water, clouds, or metal objects get accentuated in a surprising and artistic way. It is not expensive, either. Have fun with it!
The very best metallic paper I've found so far. Printing B&W and color prints on this paper using an Epson P800 produces the sharpest prints I've seen from the P800. The paper base is very grey so you wouldn't want any of the base showing in framed photos. The sheen is amazing with no surface texture. A very unique look similar to sublimated metal prints.
