Using this to replace my Canon printer, and although the DPI is lower on this printer, it does the job. Just put the print setting on HIGH before proceeding. I love the refillable part of the printer compared to buying cartridges! I've had for about 2 months. So far, this is a good printer for my small business. Set up was easy for my laptop, desktop and iPhone. The Bluetooth on my laptop sometimes doesn't connect immediately and I have to reconnect to print, which is annoying.My biggest issue is that the measurements are wrong. Well, they are not inclusive of the rear, upright paper tray. I needed the printer to be a specific height to fit on my desk and, according to the given measurements, it should. It does not fit when using the only paper tray. This is my fault for not looking closer into the loader. Also, forget about the open scanner lid measurements that are also not included. I purchased the ET-2800 on 06 Dec 2023, so I have had the product only for a day. I usually do not do reviews this soon, but the setup and document feed are so appalling bad that I felt I had to submit a review today. It took me three tries using the Windows 10 setup software before I was able to print a document. The installation hung on charging the ink and installing the Epson printer driver. There were no explanations as to why. Eventually the printer began to work with no obvious reason why. The registration process at the end of installation failed due to an invalid number (it wasn't). I am frightened to try anything other than normal size paper. Shoddy, shoddy, shoddy...I had no issue with using the printer in Linux Mint. If anything, the printer was easier to work with in Linux than it was in Windows 10.I will concede that once the printer is setup and the paper feeds properly, it is capable of quickly printing a reasonably good quality document.I have until 13 Jan 2024 to return the printer and I am probably going to do so. I am Very Disappointed with what I've seen so far.

I researched for an Epson Ecotank that double-side prints. I found this one which was cheaper than the other Epson Ecotank 4800 I'd previously purchased that didn't double-side print. I felt it was a good price so I purchased it. Not only does the printer not do double-sided printing, it also prints so much slower than my Ecotank 4800. I have 2 printers that do not do what I needed. I go through so much paper or time trying to get double-sided printing (manually). The first time, I didn't think about checking. This time I did and realized, what is being advertised is false and just not true. I've been busy and didn't have time to return the printer within the 14 days (I realized it day 17) and am now stuck with this useless printer that is inconvenient and VERY slow ... I bought this for my 92 yr old mother for mothers day because she absolutely refuses a smart phone or tablet. She just doesn't want to learn something new! She had fallen and broken her hip so is no longer able to sit at her computer for emails or pictures. This fills her needs almost perfectly! It allows family members to "Print" their pics to her from anywhere. Same thing with emails, I'm able to forward emails to her printer. At least she can read her emails.The quality of prints is great, clear text and fairly fast for a text only document, and not too bad for pictures. The only, very minor downside I see to for out purposes date is there is only one paper source at a time, so when printing from afar, pics and emails, are on plain paper (much cheaper option). ... Yet, when one goes to scan something, it asks if where you want it scanned to, and one of the choices is a USB. Go Figure.
