Having owned Epson printers previously, after research, I decided that we would replace our aging but very well used printer with another Epson Multifunction. It was easy to set up using the CD Rom provided and the App worked well on other devices such as phones. The print outs are crisp and true to image. I am yet to see its quality as a scanner. We use the printer for both school and work purposes, so a reliable printer is our main aim and it appears that this product will match our needs.

The Epson WF 4835 was just what I needed in working from home. I like the multifunction capabilities of the WF 4835. Our company is going through an audit and I needed the speed, professional presentation and efficiency of the WF 4835. I have setup the Scan capability and it allows me to scan single or double-sided documents and multiple pages in a single scan. I can then download the documents and transfer them to a master file. Overall my WF 4835 gives me speed, agility and the results I need to contribute to the audit in a timely manner. Thank you Epson.

Purchased this printer to replacing an Epson WF-2660. The performance of the printer so far is good. Setup was quick and easy using the online drivers for Windows 10 x64. I like the printing speed, ease of printing and scanning 2 sided documents. The Epson ScanSmart software has an easy interface for managing electronic documents. I highly recommend this printer for home use.
If used for simple copy and print functions this printer should do the trick. Its build quality looks fine and not plasticky like some other printers. The software will keep you intrigued - there is no simple install function on the CD supplied and I am still struggling to use the LAN port to allow me to scan directly to NAS storage. I would definitely find and read the full manual for complex home and office shared setups. I can source a full set of generic cartridges for around $100 AUD delivered.
Purchased this ink for my Epson printer. Installed straight away with no problem. Nice clean prints. A lot of generic inks have problems being accepted by the printer and can actually ruin the printer, but these ones are fine. AAA+
Expensive compared to other printers but was one of the cheapest available I could order and pick up on the day that met my needs. I print about 100 pages of stuff per day and the ink that they have provided is just under half capacity still, after three or four weeks of printing this is not bad. Really easy to install, except the ability to scan to computer. This took a couple of hours to work my way through and now works some days and not the others, when not working I just scan to USB and transfer to computer that way. My kids seem to have one day a week where their ipdas don't seem to be able to connect, don't know why?
The printer is good, and pick up from Harvey Norman was great. I do wish the packaging was more clear. I bought my printer along with spare cartridges. There was no label or warning anywhere (even in instructions) that I had to use "initial" cartridges first, otherwise you cant use them and they are useless. The label is tiny so its easy to miss. If you put other cartridges in (like I did) - you will have to throw out perfectly good cartridges because Epson customer service does not have a work-around. I tried ripping off the sticker from the other cartridges and swapping the chip at the front, nothing worked. Otherwise, good printer.
The product came with very basic instructions. But on connecting to power, all instructions were on the LCD screen and the set up guidance was a breeze. My laptop recognised the printer immediately and was connected and running. I have an old desktop also, and since my old printer was discarded, I was able to use the old computer-to-printer cable and my desktop automatically installed the epson 4835 software! I have used the printer only for an hour and , as they say, "so far so good"!! Came with two CD ... no indicatio0n as to what I need them for... will need to go on website to discover their use; could have included a sheet with the information.
Based on a short period of ownership, I'd say the printer is quick and easy to set up and it prints at a good speed and quality for a home printer. It comes with small capacity starter inks so use them first but quickly order some larger capacity cartridges so you're ready. Compared to my old printer, which had lost compatibility with the newer windows, it's a dream!
