While it’s not as fast as a standard office printer, it does fairly well, even on battery. The down side to the small size is the small ink capacity and limited paper feed. The feed tray is limited to about 20 pages of standard paper and about 5 photo pages, otherwise it will jam when attempting to pull a page in. I had a few jams that needed manual nudging with just three 4x6 photo cards, was easier just doing one at a time. While printing a large document can be a bit tedious having to restock it each time. The cartridges claim 200 color and 250 black, but the meter is already reporting half black after only 60 grayscale pages. You also have an additional maintenance cartridge, one extra included, that is snapped into the bottom for the ink residue. Very little detail is provided about it, but the display and the Epson printer software will alert you when it needs replacing.Battery life will get you at most 100 grayscale pages with Wi-Fi direct connection. However, you can charge with the AC adapter, USB while not printing or get the additional external battery that attaches to the back for extended use.Quality of the prints look just as good as my larger office printer with only minor differences when compared side by side up close. Border-less photos looked a little flat, but the details were still presentable. This is by no means a full blown replacement for your office printer, but to have near the same quality while carrying it around without the need of electricity is hard to beat.

I am not at all happy with this printer. I loved it because it fit nicely on the corner of my desk and was very convenient. For the first 6 months or so it worked great. But then it started to fail. It would not turn off. It had to be disconnected from the wall and wait for the battery to run down. Then when restarted, it would work for a few weeks, then same problem again. I have given up on it and will buy another printer. Plan to write to Epson and see if they will give me any compensation.

Size wise, it's competitive with other printers in this category, should fit inside an average briefcase, and fits perfectly in my leather laptop messenger bag. At about 3 pounds, it weighs about the same as another laptop, which is remarkable when we're talking about a wifi printer with a built-in battery that can do legal, letter, 5x7, and 4x6 prints. The battery is good for 50 color and 100 black and white prints, which should be good for most portable purposes, however I always bring the AC/charging cable with me anyway. Getting setup to print is a pretty quick and easy affair as well. The printer has a little digital screen to hook it up to your WiFi network for wireless printing, or you can connect to it directly if a network is unavailable. From my Android phone, it was as simple as downloading the "Epson iPrint" app and following the prompts, and from my MacBook I just had to add a printer in System Preferences and it was ready to go in just a few clicks. I think setting up the printer's WiFi as the first step will make everything else easier setup wise. I was able to configure both my laptop and phone with the printer in about 8 minutes and haven't had to reset or reconfigure anything else since, so I'm pleased. I was able to print from my laptop and phone with the printer 40 feet away in another room at the other end of the house, so I'm happy with the range as well.Print speed wise, it's noticeably slower than a regular full-sized printer, but you have to expect some compromise when going to something smaller, lighter, and portable. Black print speeds aren't bad at all, but full color prints slow it down considerably, which is why I think this is more suited for contracts and mostly text based prints. However, it does print photos and images fairly well. On Kodak Super Glossy 4x6 paper my color photo prints came out with good color and passable resolution. It's sharp enough to put up on a fridge door and most conventional photo prints, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for professional quality photo printer crispness. That's a bit unreasonable to expect in this compact package anyway. Thankfully, it does a great job for text, word docs, emails, and webpage printing on basic 8.5x11 paper. If you're looking for a quality portable, wireless color printer, definitely give the Epson WF-110 a look. You can essentially fit an entire office workstation (printer, paper, laptop, chargers) in a messenger bag.

I like this little portable printer. 1. It’s portable 2. prints clearly and quickly. 3. Ink last surprisingly long. And not expensive. This has become my default printer. I use it more than the stationary epson tank printer I own. Because I often have connection issues connecting my laptop with the tank printer. I found the portable printer much easier to use. In my opinion this portable printer was costly but I’m happy I purchased it. I wouldn’t have brought the epson tank printer. Had I purchased this one first.
What I LOVE about this printer is its size. It folds up and stores super easily. What I don't love about this printer is that it has a very hard time interfacing with my computer over the home network. Unless you turn it all the way off when you are not using it, it will get stuck in some sort of start up mode for anywhere from a few minutes to an hour before it will connect and print. I also have to regularly reset it on our network by turning off its wifi and then turning it back on - neither of which is particularly fast. But once it's connected, it does a good job. It prints at a pretty average rate for an ink jet, and about average quality. We have only had paper jams when we accidentally dropped something small into the paper feed. I love this printer. It’s small, lightweight, around 3 pounds, and easy to set up. It comes with a DVD to insert to put drivers on your computer which is pretty outdated. Who has a disc drive on their laptop or desktop anymore? You can wirelessly install the software and you don’t need the disc. It was expensive but if you need something easy to use, portable and lightweight, this is your printer. It only prints- no other features.
I'm a Real Estate Broker and need to meet with Prospective Buyers and Tenants all the time. I needed a portable printer to take with me to open houses and other meeting with my Clients. After much research, I decided on this one. Best decision ever! It is not only fast and efficient for a portable printer, it is light and easy to carry along. I bought a hard shell case on AMAZON that was specifically made for this printer. I am now literally carrying my whole office with me wherever I go. Love this printer!
I purchased the Epson WF-110 to replace my old Cannon mobile printer. The Cannon fell victim to Windows 10 updates, with the latest version having not BCJ85 driver. The Epson has the small physical size and portability I want for travel. It produces superior color prints and crisp black on white images. Although the ink tanks are larger than the Canon, the Epson appears to use more ink to get superior quality. Although it work with the USB cable, the Wi-Fi connection was erratic and caused the printer to freeze intermittently. When it freezes, even the on-off button is unresponsive. To reset, one must press and hold both the on-off switch and the stop [error] button. That combination is described deep in the user manual and not discovering it could be quite frustrating since the internal battery makes it impossible to force a reset by disconnecting mains power.Epson offered a warranty replacement as an alternative to returning the printer to the store. I chose that because I had bought the last one in the store and needed a working printer. The replacement arrived promptly and it worked perfectly -- a "remanufactured" unit. So despite the inconvenience, I had the printer when I needed it. It's a pleasure to deal with Epson because they stand behind their product.
I have owned several Epson printers and one thing I can say they are reliable, I trust this will not be left behind. There is one thing about this printer it is compact. This printer is relatively small for its capability, and is not heavy. This printer can be connected via Wifi and Wifi-Direct and USB, I used Windows 10 and Android phone it automatically recognized the printer over Wifi. The printer is pretty quiet, it prints at a decent speed and the print quality is pretty good. It has good built quality, and the texture on the surface gives a nice grip when holding it. On the front it has two lights indicator one for the power and the other one for charging. On the right side is has lock slot if you wish to install a locking cable, and on the left you have A/C slot and micro USB slot. On the back it has a cover which can be removed to install and extended battery, and the bottom it has a compartment for a maintenance cartridge. If you don’t have a CD drive you can go to the manufacture website and download the drivers for Windows 10 or Mac, I recommend it because you can monitor the ink levels with the software. The manufacturer did not mention the battery life but I was able to print around 5 pages completely full (color/black/mix) until the first bar dropped, and after 2 days standby it still had 1 bar left. In the box it included the printer, 2 ink cartridges 1 color, 1 black, additional maintenance cartridge, USB cable, A/C adapter, Manuals and a CD. If you travel and take your work on the go this portable printer is your solution, no more going to hotel lobby to print, and with its small form factor this printer will fit nicely in a laptop bag. Overall this is one of the most compact color printer I have seen with minimal weight, flexibility and connectivity this definitely will get the job done on the go.
Works, then it doesn't. I was really excited to get something that printed so cleanly and didn't take up that much space. And it worked great. It printed for me cleanly. And then, after less than fifty print jobs, it just wouldn't turn on.It printed just fine one day. Then didn't work the next. The manual is useless - essentially saying, if there's no power, try pushing the power/on button. Thanks Epson. This was a waste.I've just ordered an HP - that's a machine that's been reliable forever at my other work base.
