We upgraded from the Baby Bjorn carrier after our baby hit 14lbs as our backs were getting sore. This carrier is super comfortable, and relatively easy to adjust and put on alone. Love that it has front facing capacities also. However you are not meant to have your baby face forward until over 15lbs as even on the smallest setting, the fabric can cover their mouths/rub their neck. Great option for bigger babies. I tried nursing with baby in then carrier for the first time, and it went alright. Carrier full price is super expensive (over $300) but if you don’t care about colours, there is usually one on sale for under $200.

An easy and beautiful carrier. Easy to use and comfortable to wear. BUT! to this price and the focus on the soft material, I´m sad to say that this is only almost true. I´m wondering why the soft padding in front is not continued up the side. The sides are pretty rough and hard for a sweet baby face! Something that results in me holding this part away from the face of my baby. All the time! Ergo no free hands. Until the baby is old and strong enough to hold their head, they need to be positioned deep enough in the carrier to get support around the head/neck, making this a problem.I wantet to upload pictures, as others have done, to show in detail. But there is unfortunately no way for me to upload pictures in this review.

I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was thrilled to try the new Aerloom carrier, as I have an Original ergo and this one seemed like it would be much cooler because of the mesh-like fabric design. My old original cannot also have baby facing outward. However, I much prefer my older Original. With baby forward facing in the front of me, it is impossible for me to connect the back strap on my own. I love this Ergo!
8 July 2024

Bought the Aerloom a couple weeks ago for my two month old, she is baby number five so we have had a couple other Ergo’s through the years. This is by far my favorite Ergo, I have a petite build and this fits me wonderfully, the straps are so form fitting and not bulky. My baby loves the carrier as well, she sleeps wonderfully in it and her and I can both be very comfortable for hours. Well worth the cost to have two hands and comfort. And such fun colors to choose from!

Love it

I had the 360 with my first 3 kids, and was going to get it for surprise #4, but went with the areloom because of the color options. For the most part, I love it. I don’t love the little pouch on the back, it doesn’t feel safe to have valuables on my back. It also makes buckling the bottom buckle tricky to do without buckling in the front and then sliding the pouch around my waist to the back. I also miss the little shade that the 360 had. Overall, pretty great though.

Simple but Amazing!
19 January 2023

I want to start by sharing that my baby loves being in wraps and carriers which isn’t always the case for some babies. I started my search for an upgrade after my baby outgrew the babybjorn mini. I love the Aerloom carrier because of its simple set up and design. I love the black pearl color that almost has a brown hue to it - goes with many outfits! The material is not scratchy on me or my baby and he loves being in it. I have not experienced any shoulder pain with this carrier at all! I also love that it doesn’t look or feel bulky!

So far so good!

I went back and forth for a looooong time on what carrier to get next now that our LO is outgrowing his Ergo embrace. I wanted something that was relatively lightweight/cool but still had enough support for longer carries. I finally went ahead when I saw this carrier on sale, this definitely fits the bill so far and the colors are gorgeous! My husband and I are both able to carry easily/very comfortably with a little adjustment, and our LO seems comfy. A couple downsides, that may improve with practice or potentially softening up with use, are the stiffness of the shoulder straps making it difficult to get them on in the correct orientation (can be hard to ensure/fix when inside out) and it's a bit difficult to really cinch in the waistband or get the waistband high ... MoreI went back and forth for a looooong time on what carrier to get next now that our LO is outgrowing his Ergo embrace. One downside of this style for us was the lack of sun shade, but we just use his sun hat.

Supportive, Breathable, and Stylish!

Obsessed and wish I had bought with my first! I had a newborn carrier from another great brand for my first two babies. But with baby #3 I wanted something with more back and shoulder support since I carry her everywhere chasing after two toddlers. This carrier is so much more comfortable and supportive. I can wear it for hours! I also love the breathability in the summer and that it's so good looking - I get compliments when wearing it. I had to watch the videos to learn how to wear it just right, but it's not too complicated.

I fell into a hunt for the perfect baby carrier when I soon discovered that my second would not sleep unless I held her. I have the Ergobaby Embrace, and while I love it, my back would hurt after a while due to the lack of lumbar support. It was important that my next carrier was breathable, lightweight/not bulky, comfortable for me and baby, and most importantly, something I was able to put on myself without the help of my husband.I tried the Baby Bjorn Harmony because I read a lot of great reviews. While it was comfortable for me and easy to put on, my baby could never get comfortable, hit their face on the buckles and basically never settled down or slept.Enter the Ergobaby Aerloom. I recently went on an unexpected trip where I had to fly solo with my baby and this carrier was a lifesaver. It folded down so compact when not in use, and I was able to get the baby in by myself and through the airport! I had zero back pain or issues during the entire process and was so thankful that baby and I were comfortable. Couldn't recommend it enough.
