The reusable static-cling Window Blockout is the perfect blackout solution for babies and toddlers who need total darkness in their room to sleep and dream the night away. A completely dark room during sleep will be comforting for your baby, and help prevent early waking or late settling during summer and daylight saving. Our baby black out blind is made from 3 layers of material with a completely opaque inner layer to block 100% of sunlight from rooms. The outer layers are white to seamlessly and stylishly blend in with your child’s sleep space. The inward-facing side of the blind will block out the light, and the outward-facing side will reflect light away from your windows, helping to regulate the room’s temperature for a more comfortable sleep. The Window Blockout is a static-cling blind meaning it adheres with static and not adhesive. No sticky residue will be left on your windows, and the blind can be used again and again without losing its stickiness! Being reusable means you can remove the Window Blockout during 'awake' times to let the sunlight in, and simply reapply at nap time to block the light out. This feature also makes them portable blinds! Simply roll or fold for storage when not in use. The Window Blockout comes in a roll. Simply measure your windows, cut to size and apply to the panes of your windows. Windows can be opened and closed as usual. The blackout blind is best suited for single or double-glazed glass windows in a nursery or any room of the house. It is not suitable for frosted windows, windows with a non-smooth surface or privacy glass or plastic. Please measure your windows before purchasing to know how many rolls you will need.

These. Do. Not. Work.Don’t bother wasting your money. I was so excited to finally have a solution to the ridiculous amount of sheets trying to block the light out of the room, but unfortunately this is even worse. They essentially just melt off the window. The corners peel off between naps so I have to spend a stupid amount of time trying to get it perfect again. Because you end up having to over lap the pieces (I’ve added the recommended amount advised) the light essentially just shines through the gaps which creates enough daylight to have it light up the room. I’ve even had to try and get white duct tape/electrical tape to keep it together but it still doesn’t do it’s advertised job. This may be a good solution to a weekend away, but absolutely not for long ... MoreThese. Love the sleep pouches and wanted to give these a go. They definitely block out the light however tend to fall off after a day or so (follow all the instructions). However have stuck them on with painter’s tape and it’s sufficient. We use a blind over the top so it isn’t an eyesore however the stickers allow us to open the window. Need the whole box just for one small window though. It’s a decent interim solution.

We are using these on a west facing single glazed window that gets a lot hot evening sun. The blinds are staying up well (used a damp cloth to create some stick). However, do not rely on the box alone for instructions. The box fails to explain that you should leave a 2cm overhang when cutting to size, to allow for shrinkage of the blinds. This is explained more on the ergo website.I cut ours with an overhang and they have shrunk a lot. Would have been big gaps if i hadnt have allowed overhang.

We bought these just over a week ago for our front lounge room as it gets a lot of afternoon sun. We tried applying when the sun had warmed up the windows which didn’t work very well at all, they applied better on cold windows. They have stayed up but they are awkward to apply and get all the air bubbles out of. I used a window scraper to help attach which worked quite well. They are definitely keeping the sun and heat out a lot better then our blinds. 3 rolls weren’t enough for our 2 front windows though.
Incredibly difficult to apply. The white design is great as it does block the light however; the light creeps in around the edging despite hours of different attempts to get the film spot on. Have had to apply black tape around the edging to stop the light; however the tape doesn't stick well to the material. Am constantly adjusting the blind daily in an attempt to cover the light. Rather disappointed in the overall product. Seems like a waste of money, effort, and time. Would not recommend.
Mixed feelings about this one. Works really well in our south facing room, but almost pointless in our west facing bedroom in the evening. We did also need to use some painters tape to help keep it on the windows and block out gaps. Big plus is that it helps keep the rooms cooler, where black blackouts have made the room far too hot in the summer. I feel they are worth it for that alone!
Love the white, so it doesn't make the room so dark during the day. They stick well, sometimes I need to re-wet on a really hot day.I cut bigger than needed because yes they do shrink. Definitely doesn't peel of as often once shunk and a pretty perfect size.I love the fact I can still open windows easily, unlike many stick on blinds. But with that and my blackout curtains it makes my boys room pitch black. So he actually sleeps😅
I followed all directions (down to measuring and cutting exactly 2 cms larger than each window) but the sheets fall down every single day. I have had to start taping around all the edges now and even then I have to re-do it every few days.I really could of just taped up a cheaper sheet of something similar for the same result. The static stick is not enough for being vertical on a window. It may work on a very small window but with any largish window, the weight of the product is too much for the ‘stick’.Waste of money and it’s a shame it can’t be returned once opened and cut to fit.
These blinds initially look like they would work really well. If you cut for about 1cm around the window frame, you can get a complete blackout. Unfortunately I live in a hot climate and they just don’t stick to the windows at all. They unpeeled after one day and wouldn’t stay on regardless of cleaning and then spraying the window before application. The Sleep Store we’re very helpful in response to my emails and contacted the supplier on my behalf - exceptional service as always. Thanks!
Really quick delivery and service from the sleep store. I bought these for some windows that are a difficult shape for blinds. I cut them to size and a touch larger than window. Within one day of being on the windows they shrunk approximately 4cm in each direction. They also slipped off onto our guests in the night! Probably only good for windows that don't see much sun, or may need to be removed during the day and then replaced in the evening.
