This is hands down the best monitor arm mount in the game. I have this setup in my office and at home, one setup is holding dual 38in widescreen monitors, while at home it is holding up dual 34 inch monitors.The micro-adjustability of the arms is just unmatched by competitive products. Adding in the laptop stand was a nice touch, unfortunately I have no use for it with my setup.

Bought this to house a 32" and 27" monitor side by side on a fairly shallow desk. Mounted the pole to the left of the user position, drilled through the table and clamped on via a pole. 32" monitor is on half of the arm, and the other part of that arm is holding up the circular light. I grabbed the tall pole, which wasn't really necessary, and the tall pole sticks up a bit but my wife put a pink party hat on it and so the problem is solved. Works great, stable. I’m using in my RV/Camper attached to dinette table and it’s working well. Right now I have the laptop attachment and that works convenient so I can look up vs down at the laptop. Moving towards a external monitor, have not tested with that yet. The movement is smooth so I can slide the laptop around and also choose between sitting and standing (I have the tall pole). I use an external keyboard/trackball. Working on mounting off the table that will free up some room. Given this is the only table/desk it’s been good to free up space on the table for eating, etc.. with the laptop hovering above. I would purchase again.

This Ergotron monitor stand is built really well and looks great. However, one major drawback is the lack of a left/right sliding motion ability on the monitors. This becomes apparent when you have limited space across a desk that is against a wall. I was not able to position the arms back against the wall because they need to stick out beyond the desk (through the wall). As is, you have to configure the monitors based on intersecting circles, since the arms/joins all turn. Nothing allows a sliding left/right motion. I ended up returning this for an ESI Ergo EVOLVE2.

SOLID construction and rugged, and at the same time esthetically pleasing to eye without being "flashy".This same review will be copied and pasted regarding the LX Extension Arms.As well as the LX Dual Stacking Arm, we also added the LX Extension Arm to accommodate 4 - 32"32" UltraGear QHD Nano IPS 1ms 165Hz HDR Monitors with G-SYNC Compatibility, and at almost 14 pounds, the stands hardly grunt. The stand is very sturdy. I'm not posting any pictures because the desk is a mess (of course you all know this).EVERYTHING shown on their website as well as videos are very true to the product. Do your research before calling them.Cable management is also a treat seeing wires neatly routed. My desk has a grommet already in place (a little bigger than the installation suggest) but it would have worked, but I opted to cut a piece of wood for underneath the desk for proper support for the base. The stand sits neatly on the desk top and there are no holes showing.Overall, not one issue. Welds and coatings were pristine in my opinion. Love the black matte look and feel. Bit disappointed about the tension adjustments. Some of them are located in inconvenient positions. Couldn’t find a way to adjust the tension of the rotation of the head, only the pivot.Installation instructions are terrible.Overall the product does its job well and only issues were about installation and adjustments which you only really need to do once.
I used this arm to mount two 24in monitors and the system handles them exceptionally well. This is definitely a heavy duty system. You can either mount the base through the desk or use the clamp that is included. It also has a laptop tray option to mount a monitor and a laptop instead or two monitors. The arms are a little stiff to move at first, so it's important to adjust the screws properly with the allen wrench that is included. It does take a little trial and error, but the arms move freely after all the adjustments are made. I like the fact that is the unit is sturdy and not flimsy at all.
This is the second Ergotron dual monitor stand we've purchased and we are very pleased with both (we added this one because we needed our monitors to sit higher). The setup is very simple and straight forward. Once installed the monitor positions are easy to reposition, yet they remain in place once moved to a new position. This feature is what truly makes this stand impressive. You don't need to make adjustments with a tool to reposition a monitor, you simply move it with your hands and it stays... simple. This is a solid piece of equipment that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an adjustable dual monitor stand.
Surprisingly, these stands only have 5 degrees of downward tilt. Despite the fact that they stack vertically, downward tilt is not a natively supported feature. I assumed this would be the case, as for vertically stacked monitors I imagined in most cases you'd want to tilt the top monitor downward, but I was sadly mistaken.
