I got this for my monitor at home and love it. I especially like the ability to adjust the tension on the arm depending on the weight of the screen.
Solid construction and good mounting to desk. However, my monitor stills drops to the desk. At 3.6kg it is still under the 10kg max weight rating.
Gas Spring does not hold the weight of the monitor and does not stop at the specific height.
Easy to setup. Easy to mount the monitor with the provided back clip that snaps the monitor to the arm. No wobbles on the arm but a little wobble on the neck. Fine adjustment to horizontal plane is not very smooth, had to nudge it to get it to level.
This was a fun one to try to put together on your own, but I managed it! (Note it does recommend you have a friend to help, but we make do)Pro tip, if doing this on your own, put the screen on a box at roughly the correct height then tighten the arm until it holds the weight. You can get it tight enough to hold the weight, then still make the small adjustments to make it ergonomic afterwards.
Works OK - pity about the missing rubber foot. Seems to work OK but the cheaper monitor stand (that I also bought) works better
It is solid and doesn't move too easily. The instructions are not the clearest and I initially thought I'd bought a dud until I figured out I just had to tighten a nut with the supplied key. The packaging is good and non-plastic/syrafoam.
Easy to put together. High quality product that should stand the test of time. Adjustable gas lift arms so it will hold the weight it says it will.
