I'm very happy with this guitar. The Snow White looks awesome. It comes with the Fishman Fluence pickups, so you have the Active/Passive toggle. Love that it has the Evertune bridge. Especially dealing with changes in temperature that occurs. But this Evertune looks awesome because it's black and brushed chrome, so it matches the pickups. Just the small things like that makes the guitar look so much better. But it's a beast. The tone is excellent, and will sustain for days. It's great to be able to just pick up the guitar and play because it stays in tune. And set the intonation to determine how much you want the strings to bend.

This thing is an absolute beast capable of so many different tones! I'll admit I was sceptical of the evertune but now after having some time with it I can say if you are on the fence about getting one you should pull the trigger! I went in thinking itd be a pain like a Floyd rose but it's another breed entirely. Easy to set your tuning with the included key and not only does it say in tune but you can put it into a mode where the strings do not bend out of pitch that is super helpful if you have a heavy grip.

Best guitar i've ever owned

This guitar is fantastic; so fantastic thought i bought a second one. The quality of the build that LTD provides out of the box is bar none. Not a single blemish, rough fret end, or scratch to be found. Honestly, this build has to be the best you can find for the price. I'd expect this quality out of a Japanese or American made instrument with double the price tag. Not to mention, the evertune system is a complete game changer for any guitar player, and very easy and intuitive to use and set up. This is definitely the upgrade you are looking for.

If you're wanting to try an Evertune, this is a great starting point. The hype is real. I'm already plotting on selling off other guitars to get more Evertune equipped ones! Superb fi and finish. Really good fret work feels even better than it is with very nice binding on the neck. I checked with a fret rocker and the frets are almost perfectly level. I can tell they were just pressed in and not leveled… but that totally cool for how consistent it is. No buzz and able to go super low on action. Emg's are emg's love them like I do or unjustly hate them because that's the cool thing to do, they sound great! The 'coil split' isn't actually a coil split. It's a separate single coil in the same housing, which is really cool. It'd be nice if the neck were satin and if it ... MoreIf you're wanting to try an Evertune, this is a great starting point. I'm very happy with the product. This is a HIGH-END guitar and my expectations were high. The quality control is there. Everything has been checked and is spot on. Fret job is neat. The thin-'U' is not too thin, not too big/think either, very comfortable for a 7s. Shredders welcome.Trying to search something not perfect and failed. Yes, you will have perfect bends if you set it up nicely, check quick tutos. Even on the B string.Evertune was mandatory for me on a drop A and it works it's magic. Made it work in standard A (all strings 1 tone down) without issues. Probably works fine in drop G.Want a black 7-strings with Evertune? Look no further, this is THE beast!Super happy with MusicStore!Fast process, fast delivery, good packaging!Definitely ordering again!

I've had this guitar for about 10 months, and it's great! It's everything you'd come to expect from the ESP LTD line. But the big question is, "How's that bridge?"My motivation for buying this specific guitar was my unending frustration with the floating tremolo on my previous guitar. We started jumping back and forth between standard and dropped D in our set, and making that work with a FR was a nightmare. With that, I had set out on finding a non-FR or fixed bridge, since I rarely used the trem' anyway. I had always wanted an ESP and the idea of each saddle being independent of one another was compelling. It can take a little to get used to, though. With that, I had set out on finding a non-FR or fixed bridge, since I rarely used the trem' anyway. I had always wanted an ESP and the idea of each saddle being independent of one another was compelling. It can take a little to get used to, though. Tuning is done at the bridge, and the tension on the strings is adjusted by the tuning pegs. Once the string has the right amount of tension, that saddle will be "activated" in what is referred to as "zone 2". Here, the springs will counter any additional tension applied to that string up to a given point. This means that you cannot do bends or change the pitch in any real or easy way. Some people may like this, but it feels very odd, and the people at Evertune know that most people don't play like this. So, to get the best of both worlds, you will need to apply enough tension on the saddle to bring it right up to the edge of zone 2 by turning the tuning pegs. What I found to be helpful here is to not just listen for the note to change, but to pull on the string and visually inspect movement in the saddle.Once this is set, it feels like a normal guitar with just a tad more tension on the strings. The guitar will come with 10-gauge strings. I gave that a shot for a while. Only recently did I switch them out for some 9s. I think it feels a lot better with a lighter gauge string, especially considering that tad bit of tension.A tip I learned regarding Dropped D was to tune the guitar down by default. Then tune up the low E, which puts that saddle into "zone 3". This is far easier than the reverse and sti

Sound:It sounds great for metal. You can't go wrong with EMG's as long as you have a reputable amp and/or effects processor as part of your overall sound.Features:The obvious best feature is the Ever Tune system. I was highly impressed at how in-tune and intonated this guitar was out of the box. The string action was a little high though.Ease of Use:The Ever Tune system is not the easiest to grasp. It was rather frustrating. It shipped perfectly in tune and intonated like I stated above. However, I wanted the string action lowered just a little bit. Once you lower the string action, you have to go through all the steps from the beginning to get it in tune and intonated. I mean, once it's in...it doesn't come back out. Once you lower the string action, you have to go through all the steps from the beginning to get it in tune and intonated. I mean, once it's in...it doesn't come back out. But, there are a lot of steps getting to that point. Once you do, one more step is thrown into the mix, which is adjusting the degree of your string bend. Not fun at all. Because once you got it to where it sounds good, the intonation is out of whack again. So, this system will take a while to master.Quality:The build and finish of this guitar seems pretty good. High quality tuners and electronics. There was minor fret buzz but I adjusted the string height to make it go away. But, i didn't like the how high I had to keep it in order for there to be no buzz. For $1049, I feel it should play much better than it does. I have a Jackson Soloist around the same price that blows this out of the water as far as playability. And is equal to the ESP's sound/tone.Value:I feel this is a $600 guitar with an overpriced and complex tuning system attached to it. And come on....an expensive guitar like this doesn't come with a case?Manufacturer Support:N/AThe Wow Factor:I wasn't really wowed as I have been in the past when first receiving and playing brand new gear. Obviously, seeing this for the first time was impressive, all shiny and new. I just didn't feel like I was playing a $1000+ professional guitar.Overall:Great Mid-Level guitar, but certainly not for a seasoned musician.

Wow! I love this ax. I have others, more expensive and well known, but this one sounds better, looks more to my liking and is very comfortable to play. It hasn't gone out of tune for a while now and I love the simplicity and depth of its sound - no doubt the EMGs play a large part in this. This company ESP has gained a new fan.

16 March 2022

I have guitars by Gibson, Fender and Ibanez etc but this is my first ESP and I cannot think why I have never bought one before. A stunning guitar with exceptional playability and a stunning finish, along with the evertune bridge it is a joy to shred and then be able to play chords knowing that everything is staying in tune - an awesome bridge on an awesome guitar. If you a still thinking about getting an ESP - just do it, you will not be disappointed.
