I purchased this brow and lash gel this afternoon when I was at the mall with my friend, at the same time as I purchased the lash princess volume mascara. For giving my brows some better shape and more definition, I think this gel works very nicely. It is slightly liquidy in consistency, so you will have to take that into consideration that it will take a bit of one for your eyebrow hairs to dry (not excessively long or anything). However, when using this on my eyelashes, I saw that it did give them some length and maybe a slight bit of volume, but it absolutely *did not* help my genetically flat lashes hold a curl. Maybe that was somewhat to be expected, as it has been hard to find a product which will do that, apart from the essence I love extreme crazy volume mascara (pink tube), which does curl my lashes somewhat, especially in combination with the lash princess volume mascara. So I would say overall, I think it is quite good for helping to shape and define your brows, but so so for your eyelashes if you are expecting it to help your lashes hold a curl. I would recommend purchasing it if you want to use it solely as a brow gel, but possibly not as a clear mascara. As you can see in the pictures below, I removed my eye makeup from this afternoon and applied the gel to both my eyelashes and eyebrows, and found it to be much more helpful for use on my brows.

I Buy that then I was younger, but that product is not worth your money. For the brows didn’t do anything, for the lashes do something just at first moment it look good, lashes looks longer and curled. After few minutes your lashes goes down, and apply upper envelope and under the eyes the mascara if you have oily skin. Not recommend at all. Don’t know for what this is good. Maybe I am doing something wrong with it? Or this is just not good product?

I hate doing my eye brows but I’ve been using the elf wax stick for years. I branched out and tried this gel. I had more control with the wax than this gel because it does take a sec to dry. It says it’s also lash but it’s clear and takes long to dry for a mascara, sooo if that’s what ur looking for great but if you think it’s gonna match a normal mascara that’s where you are wrong. It held my eyebrow in place for the whole day!

It does an okay job at holding the brow hairs. My brow hairs are thick so I like my brow gels to have more holding power but this particular one doesn't exactly have it. Upon first application, the applicator is big and carries too much product on the bristles. The formula feels very wet and it doesn't dry down instantly. It takes awhile to dry and the holding power is about a 3/5. Usually I'd like a strong brow gel like the to really hold the stubborn brow hairs in place and if you put too much of that, your brow hairs would feel crispy and hard like when you layer hair gel on your hair. The essence one doesn't have that no matter how much you layer the product but I'm not a fan of how wet the formula is. It feels like a gentle brow hold, as if your brow hairs are naturally separated and beautiful. I'm on the fence on this.

After reading a lot of great reviews on this brow gel, I was excited to try it. But after using it for over a month I have to say it didn’t work out for me. I’m not sure if it’s due to my fine Asian eyebrow hair lol, but the hold lasts under an hour on me, after which my eyebrows just do whatever they want to. Though I wanted it to work for the convenience, I’ve had better luck– and better value– brushing on high hold hair gel with a spoolie or mascara wand.

Bad reaction

This was purchased for my daughter, who applied the clear gel to her eyelashes in the car immediately after purchase. About 20 minutes later she kept complaining of her eyes watering. I told her to blot her eyes in case the product got inside her water line. Another 20 minutes later she can't stand it anymore and I tell her to remove the product off her eyelashes with a warm wash cloth. The irritation is gone. This could just be specific to her, but for a product to be used around the eyes and cause immediate irritation seems poor quality. I wouldn't even try it! Product will be returned. I have used this brand before with eye pencils and lip liner and has no issues. Just beware!

Definitely more for brows

I bought this to use as a clear mascara since it's cheaper than the maybelline great lash one (which I am yet to try), but after trying it, it's more like a *reverse-mascara*. After I curl my lashes, I put this on and it allll uncurls.So it doesn't exactly do what it says it does but it's still useful, since I'm kind of bad at curling my lashes and I curl them too much sometimes. It does give the lashes more length though, so I guess that's nice.If you suck at curling lashes like me, you'll probably like this product because it gives you a second chance (lol). If you're looking for an actual clear mascara for eyelashes, this ain't it. It's more on the watery side so it's definitely more for brows. Love It

I like the subtle hold of this. It's definitely not going to give you freeze or soap brows but I love how workable this gel is. I also love that I can use it on my lashes because I have been hating mascara lately. This also dries clear and doesn't look like bad hair gel throughout the day. Can't miss with the price point. It definitely works for my no makeup makeup days.

So confused if this is a low-hold gel or a nourishing oil

I bought this on a whim because I popped in and was just browsing. Recently, I've been digging my natural brows and just wanted something clear to brush them up or to run over them after filling in. Thought it would be like the ELF clear lash and brow gel which I believe it around the same price and holds better. I'm genuinely confused with what type of hold this product should have as the description says "Nourishes the lashes and fixes the brows." I'm Asian and have really straight lashes, curled them all the way up like I usually do, added this, and they immediately started falling. In a minute, they were back straight, BUT they separated my lashes nicely before I put my usual waterproof mascara. Which makes sense if it "nourishes the lashes" but I don't get how this "fixes the brows" since I consider that phrase to mean it keeps them in place, like with a decent immovable hold. I might continue using it AFTER I fill in my brows if I don't want added color
