Love these essence eye pencils. I bought 2 shades hot chocolate and blacklove which are perfect to achieve any Smoky eyes! It’s very longlasting, so creamy and easy to blend. I use it to draw my smoky wing and also in my waterline and it does not run. For the price it’s an amazing product and I will definitely add others shades to my collection.

Let me tell you, THESE ARE A STEAL! First of all, I love the entire brand of Essence. They are cruelty free and they are not owned by a parent company that tests; these factors are essential for me when purchasing anything! The colors of this eyeliner are vast and pigmented! Before they set, I can smudge them all over the lid! They truly do last for such a long time, in the waterline as well. They do not irritate my eyes. There is a very unique color that is black with sparkles! I love these and they are at a great price of around 2 dollars!

I bought this in “Hot Chocolate” hoping it would be the holy grail product to last on my oily eyelids on a beach vacation. Unfortunately it did not live up to the waterproof claims at all, nor did it stay put on dry land. The texture is soft and a little gel-like, and like most eyeliner pens/pencils, it smudges immediately on me, leaving raccoon eyes. However, all was not lost. I did discover that it makes an excellent lipliner for my fellow medium/tan to dark skinned baddies out there.

If you've never tried this brand, you're missing out! Their products are SO inexpensive, but incredible! Many of their products I find far superior to luxury alternatives. If you're going to try one product, go for their eye liners - these twist-up ones or the gel liners that you sharpen - both are usually available at Ulta. I have almost every shade, and don't use anything else! They are HIGHLY pigmented, glide on effortlessly and have surprising staying power. I have used hundreds of eye liners, both drug store brands and luxury, and have never found any that compare to these. They don't come close to carrying all of the products, and never carry/stock all of the colors. Do yourself a favor and spend $20 on the site - for that amount you can easily grab FIVE eye liners, a couple of lipsticks/lipglosses/lip liners (other fantastic products from the line) and a couple of their kabuki brushes (amazing for the price tag)!

AMAZING

Glad I stumbled across this eyeliner after another brand's pencil kept breaking. Love the colors especially the most intense black I've ever seen. The brown looks so natural and perfect for me, might get another one just to line my lips. Blue is pretty but does have glitter which can get into eye throughout the day. I LOVE these pencils so far!!!

Berry Fantastic

Bought this on discount for Rs. 157. Berry Fantastic is a deep burgundy eye pencil. It is matte, quite pigmented, and glides easily on the eyelid . Once it sets, it is smudge resistant too. The best part is that is a twist up pencil so there is no need to waste product by sharpening it. Just be aware that it contains carmine so it isn't vegan.

Essence Longlasting Eye Pencil 27 Purple Rain Shade: 27 Purple Rain

Actually, I didn't buy 'Purple Rain' - not quite sure where that came from! I bought the shade 'Deep Sea Baby'. I'm happy to give these pencils five stars for their great quality and amazingly low price. I have bought numerous (and much more expensive) eyeliner pencils in the past year that all proved too hard, being quite painful for the delicate eye area and therefore a complete waste. The Essence pencil is perfect; the right colour - a nice deep shade of blue; long-lasting and, most importantly, lovely and soft so it glides on smoothly and painlessly. I bought two of them and, although I'm sure these will last for quite a while, will most probably buy more, as I'm unlikely to find an eyeliner pencil to suit me better.

Eyeliner Stays Put

I have very sensitive eyes to the point where my traditional eyeliner I use to used would bother my eyes on my bottom lash line. It was so bad I stop wearing eyeliner on bottom lash line. I decided to give this a try because it's vegan, free of traditional products use in eyeliner. It stays put for hours, easy to remove with baby oil or makeup remover products. Didn't experience any smudging and most importantly it didn't bother me.

It's Alright

It does the job, but it is not my favorite. I am using it till its gone, but I won't buy again. It starts out black, and blends out fairly well. However, it smudges off over time and around my eyes, leaving a blue hue. If applied on my lid, it leaves a crease mark, no matter the primer/application. It comes off my water line in a matter of an hour or two. I do have watery eyes, so it may be that.

Will repurchase this eye pencil again

This pencil applies creamy and rich. I line the lower lash line with dark powder and go over that application with this pencil eyeliner. It stays put for hours. The application is easy where you don't have to press hard to obtain color pay off. It's inexpensive and just works for me. I love it!
