Protein is ok, the flavour initially is a slightly tangy sweet apple with a slight vanilla biscuit flavour, it does however have a slightly bitter aftertaste. I usually add honey to reduce the aftertaste. I have found that the flavour can be a bit too much after a workout at times. Milk usually dilutes the flavour to make it easier to drink. I have found that this powder is lumpier than some of the popular flavours even after vigorous shaking which can make it harder to drink quickly as it needs to be shaken several times to break up little lumps at the bottom. Goes Well With: Water, milk

For a bit of background - I’m not the biggest lifter ever. My PBs aren’t anything special but I’ve been going to the gym for years on and off and I’ve always contemplated dabbling with preworkout. My consistency is improving but I’ve switched from late night session to working out primarily on a morning so I’ve been struggling with energy when I’ve been getting to more intense sessions - this made my finally bite the bullet. I went for the Orange and Mango flavour and while the taste is bearable (which compared to over supplements and shakes I’ve had is high praise) the results were PHENOMENAL. About 20 minutes after finishing the majority of the drink, I was repping out numbers with ease that I had otherwise struggled with. I was finish sets on numbers that were ... I was finish sets on numbers that were close to my PBs (and generally I set those when I was fresh). I can’t wait to get back in the gym with this stuff again, because I’m CERTAIN that I’lol knock some numbers out of the park that I’ve been trying to hit for months. I finished my first session using this almost half an hour ago and I’m still vibrating with energy. The caffeine is no joke. If you’re considering going for preworkout, and you know you’re safe and healthy enough to do so, I highly recommend this. It’s a total game changer. Goes Well With: Water and creatine (1 scoop)

Rating: Overall decent some of the best I've had. Taste: The Cola at first sip I thought it was bad, but over the week I've concluded it satisfies all soda cravings for me personally. Mixability: is decent it does clump but if you let it sit the clumps go away. I mix 5 scoops in 2 Litres and leave it in the fridge overnight and its perfect but even mixing on the go just give it like 15 mins approx. Any clumps will disappear. Effectiveness: Tough to say, however placebo or not. I feel great while fasting and feel more recovered and ready for the next day which I assume has a lot to do with the dose per day (10 scoops/ 4L ) Goes Well With: Intermittent fasting/ Getting your daily gallon in.

Having previously used the blue raspberry flavoured version and that not being available, I bought the unflavoured version to add to squash. The powder does not mix with water in a shaker, so you have a layer of powder floating on the top. It will be incorporated in a protein shake ( made with milk) if you use an electric blender. However, it tastes so vile it ruins the taste of the shake! It is so bitter, I'm sure it could be used instead of Bitrex! If you enjoy a challenge, go for it, but I'd choose a flavoured one if you don't! As for effectiveness...difficult to tell as it's such a challenge to consume! Goes Well With: Washing powder!
Originally purchased for my son when going to the gym, i tried a very little sample and tasted ok. I normally have 1 coffee in morning only I swapped one day for this and wow, I can actually go on the exercise strider to get some exercise which is well needed as size is bariatric, I feel I can do a lot more exercise with this to build up lung function as mostly breathless due to asthma and sedentary work lifestyle and size. My work consists of sitting at desk all day, sat down for lunch etc so moving is an issue. Concentration alertness is incredible, from normally needing a nap at lunch as fatigued again. I’m now doing other physical tasks and some more exercise at lunch. I have tried exercise in mornings before with a coffee but still needing a nap at lunch and ... I’m now doing other physical tasks and some more exercise at lunch. I have tried exercise in mornings before with a coffee but still needing a nap at lunch and sometimes a nap immediately after work. I’ve got more office work done in one day than I have done for a long time. This is a game changer for me and purchased my own. I’m no longer having a coffee as this is enough, size and fitness is changing in the right direction now, i no longer feel fatigued. Purchased blue raspberry, tastes good, mixes well with water, writing is small on packet and was unable to find the mixing instructions on it but followed it from here and filled it to near to top of shaker bottle Goes Well With: Water
I usually buy fruit punch pre workout which always gave me the required boost when training early hours or after long day at work. Tastes good and mixes very well. Only gripe is that once opened, the packet absorbs moisture in air so if you don't get through pack within a month or so it becomes unusable. I think Myprotein may have addressed this though as the last flavour I ordered (blue raspberry as fruit punch always out of stock) came with a little Sachet of gel moisture beads. This pouch has been open for nearly 3 weeks and so far the powder is still powder! Don't know whether they do this in all flavours as blue raspberry seems to be all they have in stock nowadays. Blue raspberry I am not sold on just yet. Tastes OK, mixes OK but I am not certain on its ... Might be completely in my mind so will continue to use the rest of the pouch even if just for the placebo effect!

This was the first time I have tried pre-workout and let me tell you it certainly gives you a boost! I use this before leg days at the gym (because there is no pain like leg day) and I've never pushed myself harder. Difficult to tell if the excessive sweating was a side effect of the pre-workout or because of the superhuman effort being put in! I think this product is a great starting point for someone wanting to try pre-workout, as 150mg of caffeine per serving will ease you in better than some 300mg products. You might feel a little bit of tingling, but overall the psychological boost will really improve your workouts. I hope you smash your next leg day! Goes Well With: Water
After training for over 30 years it would be fair to say I’ve pretty much tried all the different manufacturers Whet proteins available ranging from the ridiculous expensive to the cheapest. But I’ll be honest the Impact Whey protein gives the best of both worlds. Great taste, mixes like a dream with water, no bloated stomach afterwards, high protein content and all at a fantastic price as they always have great promotions. Goes Well With: Mixes best with water. I have 1 first thing in a morning to get the protein in nice and early and then 1 half hour before I train in the evening.
Usually love MP products but the unflavoured version of this is anything but 'unflavoured' - it tastes how I imagine battery acid or poison tastes. So yuck. I put it in overnight oats with heaps of sugar free maple syrup, cinammon and other flavours to try and mask the taste and it still came through and overpowered everything else. It's like eating powdered metal. Ew. Maybe the flavoured versions are ok, but it's kind of scary just how flavoured they must be if this is the base taste of this. Goes Well With: Nothing lol
