Good to keep on hand. I used to keep Bicarb. in my pantry for recipes that called for it. Some recipe's wouldn't taste the same without it, like date slices and cakes, Anzac biscuits and it would be impossible to make honeycomb without it. But once I learnt how good it is for cleaning and tried it out, I was amazed at how versatile this little powder is. Unfortunately, I tend to burn my pans from time to time and using this to clean them makes life so easy. I just add a little along with some boiling water to the pot and let it soak for a while. It is also a wonderful deodoriser and I've used it on carpets and rugs to take out odours. There is an endless list for the uses of bicarb. and this homebrand is just as good as any, more expensive brands.

Great for cleaning. I have used this bi-carb as a cleaner. I sprinkle it on the tiled shower floor and then add vinegar which causes it to fizz up. I then lightly scrub and it comes up so clean. Lately I have also been putting some bi-carb in a dish and I have put a few of these around the house to absorb some of the dampness from all the rains we have been getting in Brisbane. The price is $1. 80 for a 500g bag. Excellent when you consider the price of all the fancy cleaners. I must mention though that it isn't cheaper than the name brand if you compare price per gram and buy the 1kg in the name brand. WW one is. 36c per 100g and the name brand is. 35c per 100g if you buy the 1kg pack. Packed in Australia from imported ingredients.

Always have in my pantry. I buy this pack of 500g Essentials Baking Soda and make sure I have it in my pantry. I keep 1 pack for cleaning and I have another pack separately for my baking needs. Once opened, I keep this bag inside a freezer bag with a twist tie. This bag of bicarbonate soda is packed in Australia from imported ingredients, I would like to know where it’s from. Bicarb soda has so many effective cleaning uses and this pack does wonders to keep things clean and freshened up. It’s just as good as the more expensive branded ones.

Pantry Staple 5+. Not a sample. I highly recommend it. Extremely versatile product. Essentials Bicarbonate Soda 500g - What can I say but what a versatile product and such a good price. I use Essentials Bicarbonate Soda for everything from 1/2 a teaspoon in my scone mix or cakes especially banana cakes to cleaning stainless steel. Some great uses are: in your vase to help flowers last longer, remove smells in fridges or shoes, making into a paste for cleaning BBQ's, insect bites like mosquitos or polishing silver. Extremely versatile product and a must have in every household and why pay for expensive brands when they are all the same - Sodium Bicarbonate.

Great for Cleaning in the washing machine. . (Not a Sample)I use this product for cleaning purposes. This product it great but I find it does clump in the packaging but that's ok, I fix that. When I use it as a light water paste for stains as it bubbles well on clothing. I think the packaging can be in a container than a plastic packaging as you can't recycle it. ( Reuse a old bicarbonate container from Aldi;which they don't sell regularly)Sorry no photos. This will be a regular purchase for me. Recommended

Best value. This is so much cheaper than the other brands and works perfectly. I use this in my sponge cakes and they never fail. It's also great for cleaning and to put some in a container in the fridge to absorb odours. Great value!

Hard to find. This product was so difficult to find in store. I went to several Woolworths looking for this... before finally giving up. I even showed staff members the picture. Anyway, I went to yet another store and found this accidentally... same product but in different packaging. I took a star off rating because of this. I wasn't sure if it would scan as a Bunch sample but it did. Comparable to more expensive brands, I always keep a quarter of a cup in the fridge to absorb smells. I also use it for cooking. BE AWARE that if you can't find your product, it may have different packaging. (I still can't find my banana chips!)

Bicarbonate Soda. Bicarbonate Soda is an essential product in my household. It's a alkaline base product making it fabulous for environmental cleaning. It makes up a good paste, can remove stains and unclog some mild drainage issues. If you're game enough you can even use it as a toothpaste. But it's great for baking too! Bicarbonate Soda makes doughs lighter and fluffier. Meaning it's perfect for your next batch of brownies or cookies. When it comes to Bicarb the cheaper the better!

Quality Baking Soda. A great quality bicarb soda that does the job every time. Really good to use in baking and especially fantastic to use in your kitchen sink. I normally pour half of a packet in each pipe and pour down some cleaning vinegar. It will bubble and I just leave it for about 10 minutes and pour fresh clean water down the sink. It is packed in Australia from imported ingredients. Would be nice to know the origin of the product, also would be a plus if it was sourced locally. Easy to find on the shelf and strong packaging. Overall a great product that serves it's purpose in baking and cleaning. Great value for money and highly recommend anyone to give it a try as you will not be disappointed.
