Budget friendly. Great price however the price was reflected in the overall appearance and taste. Before cooking, the pasta spirals were very small and quite fragile, with many of them broken. After cooking the spirals lost their shape and remained quite wet despite draining well. The kids did not complain (which was a win) but can't see myself purchasing again as there are several alternative brands on the shelf with a slightly higher price point that deliver better results, taste and texture.

Packet says it cooks in 8 -13 minutes but the lower end gives al dente pasta which is what I prefer It doesn't have the richest flavour but I find it takes on flavours very well. Yes, I'll buy these again and recommend them to all of you. Here's my Ham and Avocado Salad which would be perfect for Xmas or for using up leftovers after Xmas

Great value pantry staple. Flavour - Doesn't have much flavour by itself but sauce clings on perfectly. Texture - I always follow the packet instructions and the pasta is cooked al dente everytime. Price - At $0. 80 bag, you can't go wrong. Other branded pasta comes at $2. 60 for the same weight. Serving - Feeds a family of 4 comfortably. Perfect for salads and all sorts of pasta dishes. Packaging - Easy to open bag. This is a pantry staple for us, we always have a bag ready for quick pasta meals. No complaints and will continue to repurchase.

Great for salads. I used half a packet for pasta salad. Some spirals lost their shape but not a lot. Added tomato, egg. cucumber, onion, ham, olives, artichoke hearts and mayo. There was none left at the end of the day. Enjoyed by all. Boxing day I used the other half to make a bolognaise with mince. All gone as well. No complaints. Price was competitive and taste was comparable with other brands.

Not a great texture. I would buy this only if I was on a very very low budget, otherwise I do not mind paying a little extra for better quality pasta that holds together better. I used this to make spaghetti Bolognese. The spirals lost their shape and a lot stuck together and was a mushy texture, eventhough I had cooked it to al dente. The rest of my household didn't seem to mind the texture and gobbled it down with no complaints. I am usually pretty forgiving with cheaper products and see the value, but this product was a bit too cheap in quality for me. I would only buy this again if I had just $10 left and needed to feed my family.

Broken and mushy. Most pieces in the packet were already broken before we cook and all the packets we saw in the supermarket were similar. They looked cheap and poor quality. They went soft so quickly when we cooked them (according to instruction) and they didn't have the al dente texture. Won't be buying again.

Good value but a little pasty for my liking. I’ve had now the opportunity to try both the spiral and penne within a few days of each other. Whilst the spiral did not break up like the penne did whilst cooking, I found it very dry/pasty after cooking. So I could compare apples with apples I kept it simple and stirred in some pesto and added a few button mushrooms and of course fresh parmesan like I did the penne I had tried a few days earlier. Much like the penne, I couldn’t actually taste any difference compared to the more expensive brand however I did not like the pasty/dry texture. Would i buy again - probably not - i will stick with my usual pasta and if I want to save a few cents I will just buy when on special. Appreciate the other to try though :)

Mushy when cooked to directions. My kids love pasta. This is certainly a budget friendly option but it turns into a gluggy mess when cooked for the correct time. I suggest cooking it for less time than the packet suggests. Will I stop buying it? Nope. It will still be a regular purchase

Trolley staple. Hard to differentiate from the more expensive pasta, however we make sure this particular pasta is al dente, as if over-cooked the spirals tend to split apart. This does the job and tastes great. Very affordable. An Australian product. Plain, simple packaging that contains a transparent window to view the product and also clear cooking instructions. Recyclable packaging (in-store). This is a regular purchase for our family.
