I find the Estée Lauder Sakura Ferment Micro Essence to be an excellent product. Its hydrating and brightening properties, thanks to Sakura Ferment and Double Yeast Ferment, really make a difference in revitalizing my skin. It absorbs quickly, feels lightweight, and has noticeably improved my skin's texture and tone. While it may not suit everyone, particularly those with sensitive skin, it's definitely a go-to for achieving a radiant complexion.

I recently started incorporating essences into my nightly skin routine and this micro essence has quickly become one of my favorites! I have very sensitive skin that is acne prone and this product has helped with my overall skin texture. The bifida ferment ingredient in this essence does wonders and my skins just drinks it up. There is also not much of a scent component either. I did notice however that it soaked my face with plenty of hydration that seemed to absorb quite naturally into my skin. The formula truly is “waterlight,” and made in Japan using Cherry Blossom flower and rice sake fermentation extracts to give your skin a radiant glow from within. Of course, this lotion wouldn’t be complete without a barrier boosting probiotic aspect, which comes in the form of Lactobacillus Ferment. I followed this up with my usual serum, cream moisturizer, and eye cream to complete my regimen. While I have full faith in the efficacy of these impressive ingredients, I am not seeing that “wow” factor I typically experience when trying new luxury products for the first time. I have to be honest, this really did look and feel like pure water as I applied it with my bare hands. I personally prefer a skincare lotion that has a bit more weight and grip to it, which is why I love the one I regularly use so much as it contains plenty of emollient properties. Also, the complete lack of fragrance seemed a little jarring, though I completely understand the reasoning for not adding perfume. Though I love Sakura flowers, I think this will be a skip for me.

As an oily combo skin gal, this provides deep hydration into my skin instantly. I usually hate anything too emollient or creamy because usually it’s too heavy for my skin. This provides the right amount of hydration after washing my face. For spring summer this is absolutely all you need as someone who is oily. For winter, you can layer it after with a moisturizer. Love that there is no scent!!! Because that’s very unnecessary for such a beautiful and good product for your skin.

It is only enough to use for about 12-14 days and that's only by using it very sparingly. It can take a few weeks of using a product on your skin before you can really start to feel and see a difference. I've mainly been using it at night after I wash my face. I just put about 10-12 drops (which isn't really enough) on a round cotton facial pad and wipe all around my face and neck.
