Eucerin DermatoClean Refreshing Cleansing Gel (200ml)

Performance:Good, skin not dry after washHad been using this cleanser for many years. Cheaper than retail store with discount. However delivery took awhile although its from local. Delivery guy just left the box outside my gate without any notification although its contactless delivery.

A must buy

I really enjoyed using this product. I was a little nervous at first as the instructions state that you should wet your face first. Plain water is really drying for my skin. I was very pleasantly surprised though as when I applied the product there was no dry tightness that I'd usually experience. The product was really easy to use and the pump on the bottle dispenses the right amount for your whole face - a little definitely goes a long way. I often experience burning, even if mild, when using cleansing products but with this product there was absolutely none! My face remained it's usual colour and there was no signs of redness or blotching at all. Cleansing with care

Loved trying this cleanser. I have quite sensitive skin at times so any skincare that is gentle is something I look for. I haven’t used many of Eucerin’s products before but I will after trying this. Loved the light feel of the gel cleanser, I prefer water based cleansers than thick heavy oils so this suited my skin and routine. I used it both in the morning on bare skin and also removing make up in the evening and it worked wonderfully. Was gentle and didn’t dry my skin out or strip it of moisture, nor did it flare up any break outs. A little went a long way too and the pump was easy to use. Loved the clear bottle which which makes it easier to see how much is left. Would 100% recommend to friends with sensitive skin like me!

Definitely a product to keep!

I have sensitive skin, which is often dry and becomes red when irritated. I've tried many products which profess to clean skin and leave it 'irritation free', but on application these have never really done the trick. They may work for a few days but within a week or so my skin starts to show signs of dryness or its left feeling that it could be cleaner.I've heard good reviews about Eucerin products before from people with eczema and/or dry skin and so I was keen to try this out. The product is white, smooth and slightly watery like a cleanser should be. It guides on skin easily and has no fragrance, although it is fair to say that there is a slight odour similar to that of a well known petroleum jelly, but it doesn't linger for long and certainly doesn't leave any 'scent' on skin. The cleanser feels 'nice' on your skin, doesn't sting or give you a feeling that it is drying it out.I found one pump of product to be enough to remove my makeup (foundation, blusher/bronzer, mascara and eye shadow) satisfactorily, with little effort and no scrubbing necessary. Whilst the product can be wiped off with cotton wool or washed of with warm water, I found the water most effective. My make up was removed and my skin looked clean but also felt moisturised and far from dry especially as I had washed it off!I've been using it now at night for the past few weeks and so far I'm impressed and will continue to use it alongside my other products. I haven't used it on waterproof makeup but it certainly works on the non waterproof.

Favourite product

I have been using this product for years and won’t ever change. I have oily acne prone skin, this product does a wonderful job of cleansing the skin and removing oil/makeup. It is not drying and does not leave the skin tight like some foaming washes. I just lather the product in my hands before applying to my face.

Good light cleanser

I usually buy a creamy quite heavy cleanser believing it to be more effective than gel, water based ones. This one however proved me wrong. I liked the pump action bottle which allowed the product to dispense easily just the right amount. At first I pumped out too much at a time believing that I would need more of a gel product than a creamy one, but I actually needed less. A little went a really long way. It feels really light on my face and cleansed really well. I use it twice a day morning before I put any make up on and night time when I take it off and it works great for both.I have quite sensitive skin so trying something new is always a risk that it will dry my skin out. Great Cleanser

I was a little cautious purchasing this cleanser initially as the brand claims that this cleanser is suited for normal to combination skin. I have dry-sensitive skin which during the Winter goes from bad to worse. I suffer from contact dermatitis and eczema which was being exacerbated by the Cerave hydrating cleanser that I was using previously. I purchased this and I absolutely loved it. The texture is a thick gel that lathers slightly on the skin, but leaves your skin feeling moisturised enough until you can supplement it with further hydration i.e. toners, mists, moisturiser etc. My only gripe with this product which caused me to knock off a star is that sometimes I find that it doesn't wash off fully unless you use a flannel to get in all the nooks and crannies ... MoreI was a little cautious purchasing this cleanser initially as the brand claims that this cleanser is suited for normal to combination skin. I have combination skin which is sensitive and prone to redness. I struggle finding an effective way of removing my make up that is also gentle on my skin. This is why I was really keen to try this product and see if it would be a good fit for my skin. The cleanser is easy to use as you just wet your skin, apply the lotion and then remove it with a cotton pad. The bottle is a nice design and the dispenser is easy to use. You don't need too much of the lotion but it's really good at removing a full face of make up! It takes off Foundation and eye make up with ease and it's a nice change not to have to switch between make up removers. A couple of months ago my usual skincare stopped working, I had a mild breakout that I tried to treat with new products but they only made it worse and I ended up with a full blown breakout and pretty much non existent skin barrier with a waxy feeling in touch. So I decided not to use any fancy or harsh products anymore and to go back to basics with more gentle and simple products. Since using this cleanser I had no new breakouts and now I'm focusing on treating the hyperpigmentation marks I have left with.
