I have psoriasis on my scalp and it can get unbearably itchy. Usually, the itch eases after washing my hair, but recently washing has not helped. I was looking for a different shampoo which would moisturise my scalp more than what I was using and when I found DermoCapillaire Calming Urea Shampoo it sounded perfect. I have now used it twice and my scalp itch has gone - what a relief. I just need a caming urea facial wash now. 😁

I bought this 2 weeks ago after my scalp turned itchy, dry and irritated. I have straight hair and wash it every day because of exercise, my line of work and I have always had greasy roots if I don't. After trying a purple shampoo I noticed my scalp was irritated, it itched to the extent I think my hair was begging to fall out! I was desperate to find a gentle fragrance free shampoo. This did the trick! It foams up well and you only need a little bit, it leaves hair feeling moisturised and not stripped and together with the scalp treatment from the same range makes it feel soothed! I cannot recommend it more - please Eucerin don't get rid of or change the ingredients!

I have problem with itchy skin and my friend recommended me. Just one time use and I felt the effect! I ordered tonic as well, I don’t know if it’s necessary but so far I like it! The smell is neutral, normally I like good smell products but for hair-skin health I have no other choice
I bought this product as a last resort. Lockdown chaos brought the most horrendous contact dermatitis and allergy reactions for me. My face (especially eyes area) flared up with red sore and irritated skin shortly to be followed by my scalp being sooo itchy I didn’t know what to do with myself. One wash with this shampoo combined with the leave in product and I have no itching scalp. Amazing so relieved!! Now to sort my face out. Allergy reaction has been identified as all the hand sanitizer products and perfumes in the gels.Thanks Eucerin for helping me sort out one element of the lockdown side effects. Please can you do a conditioning product too as the ends of my hair are now a little dry but a small price to pay for calm non-itchy scalp. Thank you!!!!
I bought this last week after stumbling on an article about tight tingling scalps. This product was recommended so I thought I would give it a go after reading positive reviews. I have always suffered with a tight, tingly red scalp, especially straight after washing my hair. So I washed my hair with the shampoo and left it on for 2 mins then rinsed. I then dried my hair and couldn't believe how it wasn't feeling tight and that there was no redness. I'm so glad I bought it to try. A week on, and I am still using, my scalp still feels calm and no sign of redness and hair feels great. It's amazing. Please Eucerin, like the reviewer Rachael M said, please dont change it or stop making it.
I have been using this shampoo for one week and have definitely noticed an improvement to my scalp. The itching has significantly improved. It has a pleasant smell and leaves my hair soft and easy to manage. Will buy again for sure!
It's ok; hard to tell if it really helps to be honest because if you have a flakey, itchy scalp, you're advised to use Ketoconazole shampoo or shampoos containing coal tar with salicylic acid. This is a milder shampoo, that has no obvious allergens in it. Hence, I use it as my regular shampoo because it doesnt contain fragrance or preservatives that irritate the scalp. My issue with it, is how prohibitively expensive it is without good reason. The formulation is only good for use as a mild shampoo that you'd use regularly long term (not as a prophylactic measure/ short term - as i said you'd be opting for Ketoconazole shampoo etc. for acute itchiness). How Eucerin justify this price point, even after discounts, is beyond me but i'm in a captive market and i'll pay ... Had slightly itchy scalp so tried this and scalp is no longer itchy. Leaves hair soft. Very faint smell that’s not unpleasant and does not linger. Doesn’t lather well but that’s not really much of a problem. I do use my normal conditioner on ends of hair which does not seem to cause irritation. Would definitely recommend this.
At first, I was reluctant to use this product since it did not have a safety seal. I ordered the corresponding scalp treatment from a seller on eBay, and that also did not have a safety seal. I eventually worked up the courage to use both products. Fortunately, they work great together! My scalp had been itchy and dry since it grew back after completing chemotherapy treatment. I highly recommend the Eucerin DermoCapillaire Calming Urea products if you’re in a similar situation.
