I've found the holy grail, the PERFECT sunscreen for my oily skin! This is the new Eucerin Oil Control Facial Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 with oil absorbing minerals and 5 antioxidants. It's recommended for those with oily and acne prone skin, so I had to give it a try. For starters, I love the pump dispenser. The lotion is white and lightweight, easy to apply, spread and blend in. There's ZERO whitecast, drying clear from the moment you start applying it. At first, it feels a bit sticky and looks a bit shiny – however, it isn't oily or greasy to the touch. If you apply a second or even a third layer, it doesn't pill, not even a bit. I gave a couple of minutes to set and went on with my primer and makeup (no pilling at this point either). This Sun Oil gel cream is great. When you pump the cream you get a lot of gel, but its exactly enough for half your face. Its a lightweight cream that easily transfers over your skin. Without it getting oily it gives a tiny shiny layer on your skin. I used SPF 30+ and control type ‘oily acne prone skin’. My skin tend to get a lot of break outs from most sunscreens. The next day I didn’t get any. The skin absorbs the cream fast, so you have to work quickly. That’s why its important to reapply frequently if you’re going sunbathing. This one isn’t water resistant.

Eucerin for protection.

I’ve been using this product for a couple weeks now. I like the product. It provides light coverage. I use a moisturiser first and then apply the eucerin. It’s a matte kind of cream. Not oily or too dry. It covered my skin blemishes about 75%. More importantly it provides a 50+ factor for protection against the sun. This is incredibly important to me as I have skin cancer. Sun protection is something everyone should use. I managed to comfortably include this product into my skin care regime. It didn’t create any new blemishes. It feels nice on the skin. Easy to forget it is there. Compact bottle so easy to pop into my bag and take with me to reapply as needed. Pump action dispenser is a great touch. Easy to get the right amount without waste. Fabulous daily illuminating sunscreen

I really liked this product. The texture is fabulous - it went on lightly and wasn't at all greasy, leaving a highlighting sheen and blurring my hyperpigmentation spots on my cheeks. It's a great base for makeup and my normal foundation went on well, and wore as it usually does. I used this under my normal makeup on a sunny day where I played 4 sets of tennis over 3 hours and it stayed put! The colour is also excellent. Often tinted sunscreens are way too dark for my fair skin, but this one was perfect. I will be buying it for my teens and I will buy it again for myself. It will be coming with me skiing (C19 test allowing) and I am confident that it will be sufficient protection on my face during the day. Fantastic product

I have been using Eucerin sun protection over the last few years as I have developed hyperpigmentation on my face and it gets me down as the patches darken over sunny warmer weather. The sun protection stops the pigmentation to darken generally and only a decent 50+ factor will reduce it. So I was lucky enough to test the same Eucerin product but it’s a sun gel along with tinted cream too. I have been using it for at least 5 days now and I’m very happy with the results. My pale complexion also matched with the light tint colour as close as possible which means that I don’t have to apply much foundation/concealer/powder to blend it with my make up routine. Highly recommended Eucerin tinted spf50

For context I'm 44, white British, with normal skin. I tested this SPF in winter.This is a lovely light-weight tinted SPF where coverage can be built up. The scent is mild but pleasant. It doesn't feel greasy and settles to a semi-matte finish on me. I tested the light colour which was a great match for my paler winter skin tone. Even in summer though when my skin may be a little darker I still think this will be suitable. I wore this daily over my usual skincare (serums and moisturiser) and occasionally it did pill, however this may have been because I didn't leave long enough for the other products to sink in. If I needed to reapply during the day the spf sat really well over that I'd already applied hours before. It’s ok

I bought this as I always use the la Roche posay anthelios 50 fluid and saw a few reviewers saying they liked this better but I definitely don’t. It states if you don’t apply the product generously then it reduces the effectiveness however I find a generous application looks orange - I have very fair skin. I also find it pills really badly if applied direct - I think it has to go on straight after or with moisturiser. I’ve found the best way to apply is mixed with my moisturiser and then I still need to blend. I should have perhaps tried the product without tint as that could be better. However I wouldn’t purchase again as I find the LRP product an excellent make up base.

Just like foundation..

First tried this a week or so ago. Liked the packaging and the dispenser.I have been quite generous with the amount I applied to my face but it was light, oil free, fragrance free and the colour suited my complexion. I applied it with my finger tips and it absorbed really well. I was pleased it wasn't oily at all. It was just like applying a really light foundation but I hardly knew it was there. It evened out my complexion too which was a bonus. I knew when I cleansed my face at the end of the day, by the colour of the cotton wool pad, that I had certainly applied something to my face.So, as well as protecting your face from the effects from the sun, you have the added benefits that it performs like a foundation. Pale tint is too orange for my pale skin

Very disappointed by the colour of this tinted 50+ sun screen. I’ve been using the standard untinted version for many years and I decided to try this one with a pale tint in the hope it would slightly conceal my melasma and even out my skin tone. I am in my 70s, have pale skin and this tint is far too orange / dark. I thought I might minimise the effect by mixing it with the untinted product but that didn’t work and I’ve had to accept that I won’t be able to use it having just seen the colour in my eyebrows and in my lines / wrinkles. I had applied it to the top of moisturised skin but it still didn’t given an even coverage

She's the One (Bring her to Canada Please)

I heard about this sunscreen on the internet from a few influencers and had to try it. I ended up importing it from Escuentual and it is such an amazing formula. I wouldn't say it's matte, but it leaves you with a natural finish that isn't extra glowy. It's like a blank canvas for whatever your skin is like. I live in Canada and unfortunately I haven't seen this exact formulation (or any Eucerin SPF formulation) up for sale in our stores. Please please bring this exact formulation over here. It's amazing and is more elegant than the American version from what I've heard online.
