I have sensitive skin that is prone to dehydration. I have been looking for a chemical sunscreen that was fungal acne safe and lightweight because I'm dealing with fungal acne and closed comedones right now. I double checked to make sure this sunscreen was FA safe and it seems to be. It is very liquidy and def. lightweight in texture and viscosity. It has a strong plastic/ chemical smell when you apply it but it goes away immediately and that's NOT a con for me. I prefer the natural scent vs. fragrance which is irritates my skin. FRAGRANCE FREE. This sunscreen applies very thinly and I only felt comfortable when I applied 4-5 layers to make sure I got the correct spf. I do feel dry but not the way zinc oxide dries me out. This is the type of dry I feel when I use hyaluronic acid products without a proper moisturizer. So this may not be the best for dry skin or dehydrated skin unless it's HUMID where you live. This does not sting my eyes (surprisingly) but my eyelids do feel tight. I am currently unable to use a traditional moisturizer at this time due to fungal acne, so perhaps with a proper moisturizer underneath, this would be wonderful to use? HA has its advantages and disadvantages. This did not leave me a greasy sticky mess as all sunscreens do. It seems to protect me from the sun with the amount of layers I used. I think once it gets grossly humid, it will work perfectly on my face. With that being said, it is perfect as it is for the BODY. Great job Eucerin! I hope this helps!

It is truly sad that in 2023 you cannot make a sunscreen to appeal to African Americans or other people with deep skin tones. This is supposed to be a chemical sunscreen, but it leaves an extreme white cast. I had to wash it off. You have enough money for R&D like Neutrogena, but Neutrogena repeatedly out performs your company. I was looking forward to this sunscreen as an alternative to one of my Neutrogena sunscreens that I found irritating. But when I put on your sunscreen it looked like I was wearing white face paint, arm paint, and neck paint. I want my money back.
This is thin and easy to spread on my skin. It will run into your eyes and sting if you apply it too close to the eyes or above them. I wear a hat when I am running to cover my forehead and glasses for UV protection since I cannot apply this around my eyes. I am a heavy sweater so the light texture of this is great! One thing that is really frustrating is that this leaves yellow staining on everything it touches! All my running clothes, my seat cover, car interior ect. I do continue using it because it does not irritate my sensitive, dry skin but the eye irritation and staining earn it a 3/5 for me.

Picked up this sunscreen at target after reading its claim of being oil free and dry-finish with no visible residue. These are untrue claims. It is VERY greasy, feels gross and greasy on my face and visually it looks as if I’ve got a thick layer oil all over my face. This does not improve with wear either, the greasy product settles into creases and fine lines making it look even worse. It’s like wearing an oil slick on your face all day. It has caused intense breakouts for me (I have somewhat sensitive skin but no major issues/conditions) and greases up my hair near my face as well. The sun protection seems fine but if you want a lightweight and non-greasy product for sensitive skin, this product is far from that.

Wow, this stuff is pretty good! It’s fungal acne safe as well. The thing I like the most is it doesn’t have a heavy sunscreen smell like most, I actually have trouble detecting any smells surprisingly. And it rubs in really well. Has a little bit of a wet texture at first but rubs in really well with little to no residue!! Unfortunately because it contains chemical sunscreens, it’s not technically coral reef safe. Only mineral sunscreens are and not if they’re nano titanium dioxide or zinc oxide. Only non nano titanium dioxide or zinc oxide are. But until then this works. Just concerned about the coral reefs.
This sunscreen would be amazing--except it forms some sort of impenetrable seal once you stop spraying it the first time, and it never, ever sprays again. I have an almost full can I cannot get to fire. It tries, it spurts, I hear the struggle. It sputters a little in my palm, but not enough to rub in anywhere. I've washed the nozzle with hot water, I tried cleaning it with something that might remove a waterproof film, but NOTHING worked. I tried calling customer service to complain but the wait was eternal. Complete waste of money, unfortunately, because this is exactly what my skin needs.
