These lights seem to be comparable to other permanent lights. Packaging of these lights are what you expect from a durable product (very much similar to their security camera side of things). For the 50ft strand, there are 30 assignable lights available through a separate app (separate from their security app, EufyLife). Many themes for various holidays or occasions are preprogrammed, and you can also customize a set. These lights do not allow cutting due to the addressable lights, so if you have a large gap to span, you identify what light in the string you need off and you individually disable it in the settings. The kit comes with 3 strands of equally spaced lights, an inline button, a power brick, one extension cable and options to mount the lights (all lights have 3M sticky back, but it includes additional 3M mount) as well as a gapping template to optimize wall distance. Depending on your situation I see other cable mount options may be needed. These lights are long enough for one side of my small house. I ended up getting another strand for another side as well as an additional extension (available from the Eufy site). It takes some effort to set up the lights, but once you're done, you just need to press the button or get in the app. I hope one day, they natively support smart home integration (Homekit or Home Assistant or even Alexa). I haven't plugged in the additional set that I want to control separately to see if they behave okay together/separate. Really good customizable permanent outdoor lights for most occasions.

Works Well

These work great! I already had the app on my phone due to having other Eufy products. The app is easy to use with the lights. The lights are super fun and a great year round addition to the house! They have been installed on the house for a month and have withstood a windstorm that knocked out power to my neighborhood as well as 3 straight days of rain. Very happy with the product.

I've been really pleased with these lights. The best thing about them is the app. Set up was seamless and there are a ton of ways to customize the lights. These come with everything you need to hang them. Wi-Fi connection was not an issue. They don't look bulky or out of place, they actually blend nicely to the area and give off more light than expected. You can adjust the brightness in the app of course. They really set the mood on my back patio and are simple to customize according to the occasion. Overall, very happy with the lights.
