The few times it has gotten stuck (shoe lace or under the vanity) it tries but than beeps and shuts off, also sends a message to my phone. It also has a remote holder spot in back of the charging station so no list remote. I would recommend this to anyone! Suction is great for its size, our dog shed 24/7 and the Eufy does a good job sweeping these up for us. Dustbin is on the smaller side so would require more regular emptying, but can totally understand given its slim design. All in all, we are happy with our new family member, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget first robovac.

I want to start off saying that I have owned robot vacuums since 2008. I usually buy name brands that are on the more budget friendly side. I live in a 800sqft apartment and most of it is hardwood flooring and 1 huge flat living room rug. The main reason I bought this vacuum was to clean the area where our litter box is. Let’s just say it had a hard time picking up small pieces of litter. I checked the unit to make sure everything was good and I made sure to change it to the highest suction settings in the app and it still couldn’t pickup simple things. On another note, it’s spatial awareness sucks. My iRobot from 2008 has better awareness then this one does. On the bright side, this is perfect for someone who lives in a studio apartment or has a open concept room with absolutely nothing in the way. Don’t expect much when it comes to cleaning rugs either. The app is really amazing and easy to use. Connecting to the robot was very simple as well. I will most likely be returning this and getting the next version up with actual spacial awareness and 3D mapping.

Good starter robovac
24 November 2022

Awesome starter robovac! We gave ours some googly eyes and named him "Dusty." For some reason the Eufy app will completely forget this vacuum every so often and I'll have to re-set it up. (Realitively rare.) Generally I realize this when I use Alexa "Alexa please ask Robovac to start cleaning." (Be nice to robots, maybe they won't destroy mankind?!) Functionality. This Eufy model isn't the kind that uses a map. It has an algorithm that sends it in random directions, bumbers and drop sensors that help it to move along. Gets stuck in a few parts of the house especially shaggy style bathroom rugs. (Protip, just unspin the spinners to untangle them.) Still seems to work well in our ~1450sqft home. I do sometimes use it twice a day but mostly 1x per day. Empty the bin ... MoreAwesome starter robovac! We gave ours some googly eyes and named him "Dusty." I do sometimes use it twice a day but mostly 1x per day. Empty the bin after every use. Maintenance. I got generic replacement brushes, side spinners and filters that seem to work well. The spinners fall off frequently so having quite a few spares helps. When I find them around the house I put them in a spot so I can easily use fine one in good condition to replace one. I've found that swapping the left with the right spinner brush helps to keep them lasting longer (plastic bristles get worned in one direction, swapping them lets the get worn in the opposite direction.) The first monthor so the bristles got filled with long hairs often.. the tool that came with the unit is perfect for removing the hair on the brushes. Good news, continual use of this vacuum seems to have found good equiliburim with hair removed from the floor and hair falling on the floor. About once a week I rinse out the dust bin with water, and take the cardboard filter outside and smack it against a fence post. Then about once a month I replace the filter. Started to notice the rubber wheel deteriorating after 11months of use, may order new wheel covers in the near future.

I like that this was easy to set up out of the box and on the app. I also appreciate that it connects to my Alexa app. I snagged this on Black Friday after doing 6 months of research and friends complaining about their $400 robot vacuums from a variety of brands. I was cautious but hopeful! It does a great job! I only have wooden floors and a townhome with no pets or children and a shoe free home past the living room (when possible). Kitchen, dining room, and living room are on the first level where this is housed. Most time awake is spent on this level.I swept with a broom and a swiffer dry mop before running this for the first time and there was still a full tray it picked up of dust and other random particles. It even found an earring I thought was lost forever. This thing seamlessly goes under my couch, under the tv stand, and around the dining table chairs and the plant stands. This also is able to go over my medium to low pile rugs. The key is to ensure, as the instructions state, cords are up out of the way. This made the cleaning journey through the spaces easy. It’s even made me change my night routine to do a house reset to ensure everything is in its place before heading up to bed. Which that alone has made waking up and coming home from work a much more comforting experience knowing if someone randomly comes by, I will not have to worry about if the floor is clean!I have carpet upstairs in the 2 bedrooms and am considering if I should get another for upstairs! It’s affordable and helpful.

Little cleaner

Great little robo vac. It gets under the furniture I do not want to move all of the time, like the large couches. Be sure that items like plastic are not on the floor. My son had dropped a snack size bag and it was dragging it around lol. So to keep from ruining it, always be sure to ask your kiddos to pick up anything they may have left behind. It does fine with going over floor transition strips and has yet to fall down our stairs. So that’s a plus. The tank is small, so empty often. I empty every other use just because my 3 kiddos are in and out and always walk in with their shoes on. Smh. They typically only make it in the door before I’m telling them to go back to the mud room and take their shoes off. My entire main floor is hardwood, and it will run the entire 100 mins without any problems. It does have the ability for you to set a specific time for it to clean every day. Which is great. The app is wonderful as well, it will notify you if it gets stuck, and even has an alert button for you to use in case you can’t locate it. For my household, it definitely does it’s job and helps me out soo much!

Never buying anything EUFY again!

Hello, I received the Eufy 25C as a gift from my mother, as did my 3 siblings. My vacuum is the only one that was defective. I called customer support who did some troubleshooting and decided my battery was bad. Mind you, I took the unit out of the box yesterday! It is brand new. My mother purchased these at Walmart but she no longer has the receipt. I spoke with Quita who stated that I would need to purchase a battery because I don't have the receipt. I offered the serial number, any number on the unit or picture of the unit and/or box but nothing short of the receipt is good enough for this company. I requested the supervisor and received a call back from Genae who was also not helpful. I can give you my serial number, the model number, take pictures of the unit, the box, whatever is needed but I don't have the receipt. And, frankly, I am not putting my mom through the trouble or time consuming task of attempting to "recover" the receipt over a $29 battery. If the battery costs me $29, I would guess it costs the company substantially less. So all of this to save the company $5-$15 on replacing a bad battery that was bad straight out of the box! That is some pretty terrible customer service! Instead of spending hours trying to recover the receipt and then fill out the warranty form send it in etc, I instead will be leaving bad reviews anywhere I can! I am very disappointed in the customer service, you do not stand behind your products! I will use this Eufy (if a battery in fact fixes it) and then I will never purchase another product from this company again.

This is my fifth robot vacuum so I have some experience here. I really like the look of this one and the fact that it is thin and I felt like it would go under some of the furniture items that my previous one didn't. And I think it may. however, it's mapping technology is not very smart at all. I ran it numerous times and would watch it and in some rooms it seemed to do okay but in others it would just go in the room and then go right back out. I have a relatively small three bedroom two bath Ranch home with all hardwood floors so this should be pretty easy. I close the door to one of the bedrooms that I don't want it to go in. so it basically has the living room dining room kitchen and two bedrooms to navigate. I don't have a whole lot of furniture but I do have two dining tables which it gets caught up underneath for quite a while, which is understandable. But it misses so many areas of the house. I feel like my Bissell and my iRobot do a much better job of mapping out the rooms to clean. I am returning this because I feel it's not cleaning my house real well. It is however catching a lot of dirt so it's doing some cleaning but it is missing too many areas and spots and rooms.

Works Very Well Fir The Price
18 October 2022

This device does a very good job cleaning up our hardwood and tile floors. Very pleased with it’s ability to get around and home itself. For the price, you can’t beat it. The lack of sensor technology does not allow for sensor strips, so you have to physically block off things that cause issues. I highly recommend being around the first time you let it run. There were only two issues we had to deal with on our hardwood floors. One air vent it would get caught on and crossing over the divider between our hallway and master bedroom. It does a fair job in our one carpeted room. Seems to require more than one pass. We have a lot of items in this room and it takes it a while to get around. We might need to remove a few pieces of furniture or just use traditional vacuum ... MoreThis device does a very good job cleaning up our hardwood and tile floors. You can also change directions it is going and send it home. The app for the iPhone is very good. You can schedule a daily start time and you can start it from anywhere in the house via Wi-Fi, instead of being in the same room with it and aiming the remote. Set up for the app is easy. Just make sure you select ‘Allow To Connect To Other Devices’ during the setup. Otherwise, you may have to delete the app and download it again.

Wow! Impressed!

I had been skeptical about these things but a neighbor talked about how much she loved her robot vac ( the expensive one), so I found this one on Walmart for $96, it had good reviews. WOW!I swiffer and vac a couple times a week and I was horrified by how much this vac collected. After each use I turn the vac over and check the brushes. there is one rotating brush that easily comes out and I like to clean out the hair. There are also the 2 wispy sweepers that go around on the outer edges and those easily pop off and can be cleaned. And the tray easily pulls out to dump all of the "collection". Dumping it each time is my choice and probably doesn't have to be done.I LOVE that it goes under beds, sofa's and furniture. I only have 2 pieces of furniture it cannot go ... MoreI had been skeptical about these things but a neighbor talked about how much she loved her robot vac ( the expensive one), so I found this one on Walmart for $96, it had good reviews. One armoire it gets stuck at the opening so I roll up a towel and set it in front of the opening so it won't attempt it. It has been several weeks now and I love the vac so much that I bought a 2nd one. The kids nicknames them "The Boys, Dusty and Harry". I am still shocked with how much they collect on a daily basis. It does really well going up on rugs, even shag style rugs. Sometimes I will lock the vac in a bedroom and leave it for a battery cycle so it does a very deep clean. I think the most important thing........it makes me keep the house straightened up all the time because none of us what him to suck something important up by mistake. I just do a quick visual daily to make sure cords or items are not on the ground. I cannot say enough good things about these little vacs. I love how well it cleans and I really loved the price.
