This is my first robot vacuum, and it surprised me with its performance. It is quiet, cleans up the carpet well, and can go under the furniture. I have only been using the Standard suction power and am happy with the results. The time taken to do the cleaning depends on the number of obstacles in the areas to be cleaned. I had to buy more magnetic border strips to stop the machine from going near cables and restricted areas. Battery power is pretty good without recharging after 75mins, which is the longest time I have used it. The EufyHome app is easy to use. Using the app, you can choose the suction mode (Standard, Turbo or Max), Start/Pause the machine, schedule a time to do the cleaning and see the cleaning history. Better off using your old mop. Another problem is that it has trouble returning to the base station if it is too far away from it. For example, from the bedroom to the kitchen. Notes: Before you buy, determine the area where you will put the charging station. The instructions said to allow clearance of at least 1m on each side and at least 2m in front of the charging station. This is a requirement for the robot to return to the station automatically.

I love my Robovac! I call it Buffy the Pet Hair Slayer because of the frankly disgusting amount of pet hair it thankfully picks up every single time. It is also a lot smarter than the ones I had a few years ago. As someone with significant health issues this vacuum feels like a life saver. Sure, I have to pick a smaller lightweight rug up off the floor and tuck the tassels under another rug before Buffy gets stuck on them, and empty it out every time, but assuming the vacuum lasts as it is for a few years, it will be one of the best investments I ever made. I can't particularly see the point of the app except to be able to turn it on when you are not at home. I don't really need that. I had thought maybe you could easily tell it just to do certain rooms, but can't ... MoreI love my Robovac! Those lights use more than you think.

Pretty quiet - can sleep, watch TV, be on the phone while it’s running. Vacuums well on vinyl floors, tiles and low pile carpet. The mop is more like wiping with a damp cloth so it’s ok for maintenance only. It comes with some magnetic tape to section off no-go zones. I also tried some generic magnetic tape and that worked fine too. It doesn’t fall down stairs. I move the whole unit to different levels and it works out what to do there as well. To get the most out of it you need to pick up all the toys and other stuff on the floor first. Can start and stop it remotely via the app. The only think I think it’s lacking is to tell you it needs emptying.

Cant imagine going without a robovac now. An absolute gem to have in the house. I am pretty impressed with the suction on this product. That being said, it still doesnt catch everything, so does not replace a proper weekly vacuum. Living near the beach, he makes the floor tolerable and removes most sand. He makes walking around a lot more pleasant. In that sense, this has been the best purchase ever. If youre less messy, he will probably be a godsend. Probably wont do too well cleaning after kids, etc. as he gets stuck on a lot of things we have left around the house. Thats our bad, though. For him to work well, things need to be tidy. Dont leave cords and clothes around. Would have liked better battery life. Although you can set him to restart from where he was at, ... MoreCant imagine going without a robovac now. Although you can set him to restart from where he was at, we have not found this feature to be very accurate, so its a bit disappointing when he only goes for a couple hours max. Overall, awesome purchase and cant believe we didnt get him sooner. No regrets.
This robot is awesome. It cleans everything amd then it takes itself home to recharge. If it thinks it hasnt cleaned everything after it has charged for a while it sends itself out to reclean areas it didt finish. I have it scheduled for everyday at 8am. It is great. U always need to empty the little bin each day as it only holds 3/4 of a litre. I cant compare this to any other robot as this is my first but it literally reduces my cleaning by half. I bought a Dyson stick oversized for $1300 to vacuum daily as i have two dogs who shed so much hair its crazy. Now instead of having to vacuum everyday I give the house a thorough vacuum once a week the Dyson and the robot does it for the rest of the week. Its nice to come home to clean floors and carpets after work and not have to see dog hair that I have to vacumm up. Only thing is, dont pick it up and put it in a different place as it upsets its mapping sytem and then gets itself confused as to how to get back to the homebase. Its only happened once but i believe that it was my fault when i was emptying the bin and cleaning the carpet wheels when it was on its way home. I think I put it out of sink etc. Anyway love the product and will probably buy another one that also mops in the future.
I bought this robovac for general vacuuming maintenance and it has a feature which allows you to set a daily schedule on the app. The suction is great and it picks up cat hair and can fit under some furniture so you dont have to move it to vacuum etc. It does get stuck under a few of my couches and the magnetic strip that comes with it to set boundary areas isnt long enough for me to cover all the areas it gets stuck under, so Ill need to buy quite a lot more. The robovac bumps into walls/windows etc to find its way around but I was hoping that the home mapping feature would be of benefit to stop this from happening.I have a 4x2 sized house so the battery lasts about 90 minutes before it recharges itself and then it does at least go back to where it was last. We ended up purchasing a stick vac as well as the robo vac doesnt like being moved to clean other areas that it hasnt recently mapped out and takes longer to navigate, then it tries to go back to the starting point instead. I also find that I need to put up all the chairs and remove all obstacles just before each clean or it uses more battery life to try to get around them. So overall, its great on the carpets and does have good suction, but I wish it was a bit smarter. Definitely recommend having a stick vac as well ).
This RoboVac has changed my life. ‘Eufy’ is my new best friend and partner in crime to help me fight the daily dog fur and dirt battles. He courageously heads out every evening to clean up the fur tumble weeds and any trace of dirt, dust or debris from the days conflicts. He doesn’t complain and is meticulous with removing all evidence of conflict from under the couch, table and chairs and tight corners. He is respectful of humans and animals and should he get too close to a wall or piece of furniture he politely turns and retreats. The satisfaction of emptying his work in the morning and discarding the offending mess is testament to his ability and professionalism. They say good things come in small packages and this little trooper is worth his weight in gold. ... MoreThis RoboVac has changed my life. ‘Eufy’ is my new best friend and partner in crime to help me fight the daily dog fur and dirt battles. Other reviews convinced me to take a chance on ‘Eufy’ and I am thankful for the people before me who sang their praise for this little bad boy. He politely advises when he’s done and is heading home to re charge, you go you good thing and head on home for a well earned break. He’s part of the family now and my leading man. It’s a match made in heaven.
We have mainly hard floors at our place, on 2 levels, and previously had been using a Dyson stick style vacuum to clean before mopping. We bought a Eufy L70 to do one of the levels. Long story short we were very impressed with the job it did so we opted to buy a 2nd unit for the lower level - the Eufy Robovac G30 Verge. It has also done a great job so far - certainly picks up more than the Dyson did. It had a small difficulty entering the bathroom as there is a small level difference between rooms - but an engineered doormat solved that problem. It's 'room logic' is a bit different to the L70 - less logical, but it covers all the rooms (4) and all of the floor area it can access - including spaces that are roughly the same width as itself. I get distracted watching it's progress on the digital map -) The app is good and allows scheduling and machine characteristics - it doesn't however allow map editing with "no-go" areas like the L70 but it does come with strips that you can block areas with. As I was originally dubious about the effectiveness of robot cleaners I was pleasantly surprised that it exceeded my expectations - would recommend this model or if you can afford it, the L70.
This Robovac (we call her Effie) picks up quite a bit. After running daily for a couple of weeks, we only have to run her 2-3 times per week. She does get confused occasionally and can't find the charger or gets stuck in small places. However, for the price we are happy. She gets under beds we normally can't with a regular vacuum. The maps are a little off, but in general we can guess from the room shapes where it has or has not vacuumed. If we close doors it may take a couple of times to find the room again after reopening the door. For the price point we can't expect perfection but Effie meets expectations and we are happy with the purchase. We use it upstairs in carpeted bedrooms. We will probably buy a second in a couple of years for downstairs when mapping ... MoreThis Robovac (we call her Effie) picks up quite a bit. So, we resisted buying this type of cleaner for some time because they seemed to be a bit gimmicky more than practical and we had previously forked out for a Dyson stick type cleaner. After a time, reading many positive reviews on the Eufy range we purchased a Eufy L70 on special. Right from the start we were impressed with the amount of dust/dirt it picked up compared to the Dyson. As we have a split level house with no carpet we purchased the G30 to cover the lower level. The G30 does a great job - much more effective than the Dyson was. It maps the area (kitchen, family, laundry and bathroom) well and does the job in about 30 minutes The scheduling software works well. I had to build a small carpet 'ramp' so it could enter the bathroom as it couldn't handle the 2cm step up - fair enough, no problem. The L70 and G30 map quite differently, the L70 seems a bit more 'fussy', the software needs a bit more refinement regarding no-go areas and saving maps . The G30 is bit more pedestrian with it's mapping but seems more effective. On reflection the L70 was a bit of overkill for our situation as the wet mopping function became redundant. So if I could go back in time I would have bought the G30 for both levels. Parts kits (filters, side brushes and sweeper assy) are readily available and reasonably priced online.
