I have a number of eufy's other products that I have issues with, e.g. being spotty at best, not recognizing human motion, delayed recording, etc but since I needed to quickly go on an extended trip I figured I could use two of these indoors. I purchased from my local Walmart. It was almost impossible to connect to the wifi (made sure I was on the 2.4ghz channel); when one finally connected, it worked for a little bit and after maybe 20 minutes the camera wasn't actually recording anything (though it was constantly moving). When I unplugged the camera to reposition, it would not reconnect to the wifi at all. Useless junk and will be returning both.

I am sure the camera works great. My main issue is that the registration process requires personal information including birthdate. I was looking for a camera that worked over ip. I don't want a camera that requires registration. I want a camera that works on my network only.

Absolutely love this camera. Easy, motion is good when using the pan %26 tilt, you can adjust the motion %26 sound sensitivity, picture is beautiful, sound is even really distinct %26 clear which I have encountered issues with (being the sound), with OTHER cameras and I have purchased several different kinds of cameras all of the way from Amazon Blink mini cams, to Ring wireless cams, Geeni cams, %26 Baby Pro and I’ve got to say that this Eufy Security Mini Pan%26Tilt camera is close second for the best that I have bought and used (first being my 2 Ring Wireless cameras). But I will say that the one thing this camera has that my Ring cannot compete with is the price… I mean, $50 is a stolen deal for this camera if you ask me. (:

After trying for over an hour to first register the app and then try to use the unit I threw in the towel. For about 30 minutes of attempting to use computer and iPhone to connect it kept asking to prove I wasn’t a robot but never accepted what it asked me to type into whatever device I was trying to use. It not only said, “password is incorrect,” but eventually even said, “that email does not exist.” Done with this piece of garbage. Will be returning it.

The included written materials are pretty sparse and I was concerned at first but it turned out to be easy and intuitive. All I had to do was download the app and follow along with the prompts after setting up an account. Set-up really did only take 15 minute tops, which included putting it up outside. The app interface is really easy to use and understand.I think it is important to clarify that while this is a wired camera, it is only wired in terms of power source. It relies on Wi-Fi to send data to your phone or computer, so it does not work well in areas with spotty or bad Wi-Fi signals. I was unable to use the camera in my original intended spot due to the low Wi-Fi in the area. The charging cable (usb-A to micro-usb) included is really long and is enough for me to reach most outlets without needing an extension cord. I also appreciated that the brick itself has a very small footprint and doesn’t take up much room.The picture quality is really good even when it is dark outside. I like the wide angle of the lens, so I didn’t have to spend that much effort in finding the right position to place the camera. The clarity and quality was better than I expected for a camera of this size. It is useful that it includes a 32GB micro SD card and can record video without a hub or anything else.Overall, I think this is a great security camera that is flexible in use. Great to add to an existing set-up or as a beginner security camera since it doesn’t require much and has a small footprint. Simple to set-up and use but very good quality and excellent design.
Absolutely love this camera. You can’t beat these features. Daytime video is flawless, but a little grainy in low light — still plenty clear enough. It’s perfect for checking in with my pets during the day, although I think hearing my voice when they can’t find me freaks them out a little lol. Also brings a little peace of mind bc I take care of an elderly relative who doesn’t know how to answer her cell. So now I can keep an eye on her and also remind her to pick up the phone if i need to talk to her. The pan/tilt function works amazingly and the app works perfectly — it’s easy to use. No complaints. Does everything it advertises, and does it well!!! Highly recommend
