I bought this after researching multiple cameras. I actually purchased a different one but returned it for being to big for the application. This unit is replacing an older one that does not take the solar charge very well anymore. Only been a week but so far, so good! I had a bit of trouble setting up. I would not gain access to my network. After severall attempts with the same non-result, a screen popped up instructing me to scan the Q-code on the back of the camera. Set-up went fine after that.

So far, I have really enjoyed using these security cameras. The fact that they're wireless is super convenient, and the solar charging functionality provides continuous power so no need to worry about battery life. Love that there's no monthly fee - big saving there. The on-device storage and AI capabilities are neat features. The day and night clarity of the footage is commendable, and the easy installation was a bonus. Overall, these cameras have exceeded my expectations.

This product is excellent. The Day and Night Clarity feature is revolutionary and the No Monthly Fee policy is a relief. The 2K Resolution quality is superior. The Solar Charging and Wireless Outdoor Camera features, along with Continuous Power supply, are great additions. The on-device storage and AI are remarkable, and the Easy Installation and Human Detection features are bonuses. The 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity is reliable. Overall, highly impressed with this product!
I wanted to monitor my home and turns out 2 days later I found someone in my backyard which I would have never known about. The battery is decent in good sunlight but I constantly check the cameras and see the battery going to down here and there so I advise against that. The night time quality is good I was shocked at how much clarity is has and for the money it’s good, especially since I can’t run cables to my backyard. I ended up giving this unit to a family member and buying the s330 4 pack with home base 3 for myself which so far I enjoy. I like both cameras and the 4k is nice to have but not a deal breaker when it comes to these cameras.
These cameras are not suited for the Canadian Climate unless you are ok to take your ladder, remove the camera and bring it in the house for charging every 2 weeks in cold weather.The battery doesn't last 3 months but 2 weeks when the temperature reach 0 degre celcius or lower. Thinking of adding a solar panel? They won't charge either at those temperatures even if the panel is in full sun.I even tried to charge them out with a usb adapter and usb battery pack, no luck. They only start charging when the temperature reaches around 5 degrees Celsius and above.Not built for the Canadian climate.Returning them.

I won't keep rambling on, but long story short, SWITCH TO THESE GUYS. this camera has been on point, not missed any motion detection moments, and connection is somehow stronger which makes it more reliable than my ring camera that cost $150 more than this one. Also, they aren't playing about no subscription. I never have trouble connecting to the camera via the Eufy app. However... viewing the Eufy cam video, live or pre-recorded, on any of our Alexa Echo Show devices is frustrating. 90% of the time it won't work when we say, "Alexa, show me the Deer Cam", giving us a device is not responding error. So that's a bit disappointing but I figure we are right at the max WiFi range as it is.But all in all, it's a great little camera and the built-in solar power (no external panels to hookup) is a game changer.

The built in solar panel is VERY nice, IF the install location gets direct sun. Mine does not, thus the USB cord you see hanging below the camera for the remote panel that does get sun. I verified that the facial identification works great with Homebase 3.To Bad:Solar is completely useless unless the panel will get direct sun.There is no spotlight for night time.
