A very good quality stand alone unit.. it can be placed anywhere with decent WiFi Pros: super easy to set up, good solid build, video images are OK, crisp and clear.. Cons: only has 8GB on board which you cannot upgrade.. Overall a solid unit to integrate into your smart home.. yet to test: - how long the battery lasts - see what happens if this stand alone unit integrates with other eufyCam camera / hubs.

I had some issues connecting the camera to my Wifi but with the Eufy Support, I have found a YouTube video to show me how to connect it properly. Works well & recharges quickly with the solar panel.

Great camera and good quality, records bit later than sensing person and might miss couple of seconds video. Battery life good, night vision good could be better. Shape and size excellent. Best thing, you don’t need subscription to store data. Good sound to alert intruders. Overall, good product if you buy it on special price.
I haven’t encountered with the previous complaints but I have a one thing to report that the Eufy Security 2K cam pro has a delay when a person is detected, the battery life is excellent but video isn’t clear and it would give false alerts.
VERY slow to pick up alerts. I use this camera on my front door, and often times when i get a delivery the camera does not give me an alert. I have reset/restarted it countless times and the internet connection is strong. The battery life is also pretty bad and you will definitely need a solar panel if you dont want to keep charging it every few weeks. I have several Eufy cameras around the house, and i have been happy with all of them... Except this one. Maybe I have a bad copy, but in my experience this is a slow and unreliable camera for monitoring and security. Its just an unreliable camera
Love how it stands alone from other cam. Thought I was buying the one with the magnet on the back. As it has more features. Next time I need to check more closely. Other than that it’s great
Was recommended the Eufy Brand but am going to try different cameras because the 180 day battery life is misleading and false as mine hasn't lasted 30 days. The night vision motion sensor is shocking I legitimately was standing in front of my camera for 10 minutes before it picked any movement up. Someone could of robbed my house by then. Also even the day time motion sensor is poor quality. Very disappointing for the EUFY brand. I'm hoping the kit with the the home base is better, otherwise I'll be moving over to the Swann brand.
I love the eufy range and the 2k Solo Pro has been no different. It was easy to install, set up and get going. The battery is lasting well and the sound and quality is fantastic.
