The smart lock is comprised of high quality components and comes with an easy to follow installation guide. Installation on a properly prepped door takes approx. 20 minutes. Pairing with a smart phone is seamless and easy, iPhone app used in my case. Locking and unlocking with your phone works well, as well, setting a manual code is very easy to set up and all of these features function properly. This smart lock is one of the best ones I have come across so far in quality, ease of installation and functionality.

Installed this smart lock on my front door within 20 min. Very easy to install and each step and instructions was clear and and easy to understand. Connection with wifi and google home was just as easy to my surprise. I have a bunch of smart switches that had way more difficulty connecting. I used this lock for a month now and it was very convenient not having to pull out my keys. I like how the key pad illuminates for night entry. So far battery states its in full charge, will see how it goes in the winter time.

I was able to install this myself in a couple of hours. Would have been quicker but had to drill some different sized holes in the door. Works well now anyway. We haven't needed the physical keys and find the keypad the fastest way to get in. The auto lock is very handy also. My only complaint is that connecting to bluetooth is very slow every time. It was advertised as 'unlock the door while walking up the driveway' but I find that but it connects to slowly that I arrive at the door and put in my pin before the phone can even connect to the lock. Even then you still have to have the app open and slide to unlock in-app so it's very slow. Should have got a unit with wi-fi built in.

I didnt think that the wifi really added much but in hindsight it would be useful to be able to lock and unlock my door from work - No big deal though. The lock was surprisingly easy to install, i just needed to swap around my existing doorhandle and deadbolt to make room for it. I've been using this lock for a little bit now and I really love it. It was so easy to install with each piece of the packaging clearly stating which step it was for. The app is super simple to use. With my old keypad lock it was a bit of work to program temporary codes, with this, you just key it in from your phone and can set time of day access rules and everything. It even sends a notification to my phone when my kids unlock it when they get home from school. Great product.
I've installed a few smart locks and I got to say this one was the easiest to install. Right out of the box the product and package are labelled in steps. Very organized. Overall this product seems very sturdy and safe. The app for this smart lock has simple instructions and very quick to set up my other family member with their own passcode. Passcodes can go up to 8 digits.

With this enabled everything synced up properly and I was able to use the Alexa app and voice commands to lock the door. This lock seems to be well made, and well thought-out. Adding users and remotely locking/unlocking is quick and easy. I recommend this lock and look forward to using it for years to come.

Set up was simple enough. Each stage had a box with part to be used. Unfortunately the keypad never worked from day 1. There is a connector that can only go in the slot one way so it certainly isn’t installed incorrectly. I seen some comments about bad battery life - let me tell you, I have only had the solo smart lock D20 installed for 3 days and I’m on my 3rd package of batteries. Save yourself some aggravation and don’t waste your time with this product
recently bought this model, and it works pretty good. ONCE I figured out features like using Google assistance and the associated 6 digit pin. The website has little info specific to this model, and uses other models in vids etc. Which isnt exactly comforting, as one wonders if the model is 'older', and being phased out? Ive learned a valuable lesson, in using support info prior to making purchase and seeing how easy it is to get info. All said, it was easy to set up, easy to use and compared to the cheaper 'defiant locks' sold by HD a far better deal. The packaging is TOP notch, instructions are pretty clear, step by step. Again its the support that is a bit lacking.
