So far, I have liked the door bell very much. It is quite responsive and the video quality is nice, even at night! The installation was almost hassle free: just that the door bell after connecting to the power went offline and required a reset. I also liked the HomeBase 2 that saves the recordings and is very easy to manage through the app. The thing that I did not like at all was the mounting bracket, which from a design point is quite terrible and feels cheap compared to the doorbell built quality. It doesn't give you the feeling that the doorbell itself will be secure.

I love this doorbell from eufy It is Apple HomeKit compliant, easy to install and connect to my existing network. Notifications are immediate and notion detection, including the area feature works really well. I love the fact that it can be either battery powered or be wired then the battery doesnt get discharged.

I decided to upgrade from an older Imou 2K system with 3 cameras. I have the Homebase 2, Cam 2 Pro 4, Solar Cam S40 2, Floodlight Cam Pro 2, Indoor Cam P2 2, and a 2K Doorbell. I have the Homebase wired to the Eero Pro 6 gateway. What the dispersed Pro Eeros including Beacons allows is COVERAGE. The ultimate reach from an Eero is nearly 90 yards to a Solar Cam that peers into our forested area providing real time game deer detection. Others look out into the pasture, shop, sidewalk to the house, and driveway. The Eero system makes it possible for the distances Im using on the spread. If I decrease human sensitivity, I miss people unless they walk closer than Id like before notification. To get everything to work with Eero, you have to turn off the 5GHz side while setting up, and youre good to go. All in all, a good deal. Consider getting the added solar panels for the Cam 2 Pros. They keep everything charged up well. Its a good idea to look for mounting locations somewhat under the eaves with the solar panels mounted lower to get sun but not snow on them. The Floodlight Cams get a localized glare, but putting some dark matting under the eaves solves much of that problem.
If you go to You Tube to find out set up instructions it's an awesome quality product but the quick set up guide was difficult to follow! After getting it up and running was very impressive, love the dual camera and that it works with Alexa or google
My mother has the original doorbell which is perfect for her. Hence why I was eager to get the updated version for myself. However I had constant issues with connectivity so you were unable to view live feed. The battery lasted all of 24 hours despite it being charged for nearly 3 days each time. I think I was just unlucky and received the faulty item off the production line. VERY were cooperative and despatched a replacement straight away. So far this has been perfect and works with no issues.
Good Points: Great picture, works well and also looks great.Overall I really like it,just hope it last longer than the previous eufy Doorbell I had.Improvement Points: Battery life could be improved in also animal detection and night colour vision,like on other cameras they do.Also better doorbell sounds that link to upstairs doorbell eufy extension that has different sounds that don't match
