Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! I purchased these solely because they claimed a 1-year battery life. Well, I'm a believer! Seven months after the installation, after a few snow storms, rain, and high wind days, all 7 cameras still have 4 bars of power remaining - Amazing!The cameras are being used outside in a warehouse-type building. With the assistance of smart tech that identifies a person or motion, the battery life is likely well managed. Great pictures, ease of use, and the ability to record, download and take snapshots, access to multiple months of historical video, and all without a monthly plan!the only distraction is Eufy is a Chinese company but what isn't in technology today?

Coming from an Arlo Pro 2, I decided to ditch those cameras and replace it with these. I can only compare these to Arlo Cameras since they’re the ones I’ve owned before, so other manufacturers may vary.When shopping for battery cameras, first thing you wanna check is battery life. One thing I like about Arlo though, is even if someone tries to steal your camera, as long as it’s paired to your account, no one can use it. I’m not sure how Eufy cameras work in that regard, but Eufy has Anti-Theft alarms in the event someone moves the camera with it on.Overall, Eufycams are a great value, less hassle and gets the job done. There is an issue with white flashes at the start of the video but they said it’s gonna be fixed on the next firmware update. A minor inconvenience but still, it gets the job done.

Bought these cameras and installed them on my house. One in my driveway and one at my front door They are good quality picture day and night The batteries on the cameras are long lasting. I have had them installed for about six months now and the battery indicator shows that they are half charged. It’s very nice to have a camera that shows you the battery status on your phone screen. At first, I liked it so much that I ordered another camera. It was easy to set up the cameras, easy to connect the app, and doesn't require cloud storage to work. After a couple weeks, I'm considering returning everything. You can set three detection zones for each camera, but they can only be non-rotatable squares. If you're watching something at an angle, like a driveway or sidewalk, you have to extend the detection zone to include areas you don't want, or you might run out of squares. It's also pretty bad at detecting people, but mostly if they're black. When I (as a white person) walk from my driveway to the sidewalk, I get an alert that says "Human." In two weeks, two of my cameras watching the main entry areas have failed to detect 100% of black people as human. Seems like some pretty serious bias in their AI. Then there's the video quality - The attached image is clipped from one of the videos, and I couldn't even read the sign on the side of the car from 20 feet away. And, of course, since the driver was black, he walked past multiple other cameras to get to my front door, then left, all without triggering a single alert.

Not long after they’re gone like with certain doorbell systems/cameras. Overall, I really love this camera system. Especially love that it’s wireless! Only wish they would update it so that you could control pan and tilt from your phone!

The screws are low quality - when I tried to unscrew to remount in a different location, the screws were stripped and I had to get other tools to remove the screws.The main positive to this is that there is no subscription fee and all of your video can be stored locally on the home base. Unfortunately without being able to deliver on the main functionality that a security cam should serve, nothing else really matters.

It was a little tough getting it off the ground and configured at first, but once I got through some minor hurdles it went rather smoothly. The range is more than sufficient, my furthest camera is about 40 feet away from the base unit and through a couple of walls. Picture quality is great. They give you two mounting options for the camera, one screw in, one magnetic. I use the screw in ones on the easily accessible cameras for theft reasons, it also seems to have a little better angle adjustment. Both work fine. This camera has only ONE job to do, and can't even do it properly! I just purchased this on Sept. 29, 2022. Today is Oct. 9th. A mere TEN days and this product is FAILING MISERABLY!! It was fine for the first 6 days, and now it won't capture motion longer than 6-9 seconds long, while there's STILL MOTION within its view!! Are you telling me that this is only good for a week, only to have it fail after a one-week period?!?! So, I changed the sensitivity, and it STILL doesn't work properly the way it did during the first week I had it! So, if you're looking to protect your property for about a week, this garbage is for you! After that, you're on your own! Might as well get a guard dog. Police can get access to the videos if Eufy (=Anker) gives them up. Eufy doesn't publish transparency reports. 2) The cameras have to be relatively close in a wifi sense to the base station. In my case that means the base station had to be in a specific spot in the house to be able to talk to the front door and the back yard. 3) The cameras DON'T ALWAYS TRIGGER ON MOTION AND SOMETIMES SHUT THEMSELVES OFF. As in, you have to log-in to the application and put the camera in live mode to wake it up so it will trigger again. But this is intermittent, and seems to be rare, so it's really hard to troubleshoot.This last one is why I'm trying to get a refund, and why I've dropped the stars to one. If a camera doesn't trigger with a person walking in daylight right through the middle of the field of view and the middle of the defined trigger zone and you can walk back and forth and it doesn't trigger then why do you have a security camera? Even if it is something that can be fixed with a firmware upgrade that they push to the camera, how do I know that it was successful? How do I know that they don't push a bad firmware upgrade (like when Google pushes ones onto Google Wifi devices that locks them up and forces you to reset to factory default and reconfig them)?
