awesome durable heads, I have used these on a different kit for the last 6 months and there are zero stick marks on them! so I'm changing the heads on my other kit to the same. full bodied tone with great attack!

We've tried a lot of heads from different manufacturers on our Church's Drum set. These hands down sound the best, and with the least amount of effort. They're also the most durable, even after months of drummers playing they still look new!

I was in the market to try the UV2 after hearing the recent buzz around it's release. I tried the UV1 when it launched and felt that i found it to be a great snare head but for my purposes was a bit too bright and lively. Now for the UV2 I feel as though with the second ply, my Tom's have a brighter attack then I had with my G2's but with a much more focused tone from the drum without the need to use dampening (although no shame if you enjoy that sound, I do but I just didn't have a hard time dialing in my sound with the head as is). Now I am saying that while I love G2's, the slightly thicker feeling of the UV2 feels better for my play style, and doesn't get lost in low end punch but retains an articulate sound from each stroke played. Good heads for a 2-ply head with the UV coating. Seems a little thicker than a G2 or Emporer. I'm a big fan of the UV coating, it seems to last forever. These heads seem to respond best with bigger sticks and at medium to loud volumes.
I was a Beta Tester for this head. I fell in love with it immediately. I have more than 130 hours on that head and have used it on 3 different snares. It sounded great on all of them. You can hardly tell the head has been played. The coated service is like brand new still and the head is incredibly lively and responsive with that many hours on it. It is currently on my 1957 Vintage Mahogany Ludwig Snare.
These batter heads are durable and dent resistant, while providing a warm rich tone. They're easy to tune up or down. I changed all my batter heads and the entire kit sounds like I've upgraded to a new more expensive one. There's a noticeable pleasant sticking quality as I'm playing.#sweepstakes.
Great durable head. Even though this head is thick, it still plays and sounds like it is a thinner head. The sound has higher overtones than what I anticipated, not as muffled as expected. Overall great sound, but did not have as low of a tone, fat, or low- end rumble as I believed it would have initially. Little too pingy for my taste when it comes to a floor tom, but once again, a really good product.
Feels like s good quality 2ply head. I still need to tweak the tuning as I've pitched it too high at the moment. Using an e-ring really deadens the resonance.
I use g2s religiously due to attack and tone balance. These have the same attack, but warmer tone (no need to tone control the heads from the shrill the g2s sometimes give off). I play mostly post rock, so I need versatility, and these have it. Nice pack- use 10&14" toms, and 12" snare- this fit the bill perfectly- good tones on all, took 15 minutes to change and tune all heads- love Evans 360 tech. These are a little thicker, so make sure to seat them pretty hard at first. The nice clear edge to show the drum bearing edge is a nice touch.
This product is great! I currently switched from the onyx series to these uv2's and have been impressed so far. They offer just a bit more tone and sustain than the onyx heads. I cnt wait to put these uv2 heads through some wear. I wanted to test out the claim that the coating lasts a lot longer. The coating is definitely more durable as of now. Usually heads show sign of wear after a good half hour of playing, and these still look new! Only time will tell! Thanks sam ash for always being so kind to me! Hope to see the guys at the shop soon.
