I'm married to someone who always likes the house warmer than I. Sleeping at night is particularly hard since I'll start sweating, especially on the pillow. I put this little cooler on my bedside. It cooled me off without disturbing my partner. I can direct the cold air right on my face. Since it's USB powered, I can use it either with a battery pack or a standard charger. We've got a power array by the bedside, so that was no problem. If you're one of those people that need to be colder than the people around you, this product is perfect. I took it to my office, which is always hot and was finally able to get stuff done. This evaporator is so much better than a desk fan, since it doesn't just move the air, but cools it.

This is a lifesaver for someone who isn't used to humid hot climates. I put it by my desk during the day and move it to my bedstand in the evenings. When you fill it up and keep it on the low to medium setting, it lasts a surprisingly long time. It's pretty quiet too. It takes a little finagling to figure out how to fill it but then you'll hit a groove. The only mark is that the little plastic positioning rows in the front can easily get disconnected so I have one row that's off its track and I can't figure out how to fix it. Doesn't impact the efficiency though! I also wish it had a timer option and a way to adjust the brightness of the power/speed button. :)

Great device - have been using it for the last week at work and it does a great job. I work in an open space office where the temperature is not always perfectly regulated - especially at my desk which is located close to the window it can get hot and uncomfortable. With the cooler, I can control my own microclimate without disturbing others. It makes the air fresh and does a great job as a personal air cooler. For weekend I took it home and put it next to my bed for the night - no more issues with dry nose in the morning. It is very quiet so not messes with my sleep at all. Looks stylish and has a several different colours of the light. Great value for money. Recommend.

If you are looking for something that will cool down an entire room, this is not what you want. I am very happy with mine. Using the dial/control panel on top, you can adjust the fan speed, color and brightness of the light (or turn it off entirely), change from Celsius to Fahrenheit, and set it to change color when the reservoir is empty. It is not noisy although adjusting the fan speed will make the fan sound more, or less audible. It cools the air down by at least 10 degrees directly in front of it. The farther it is from you the less cooling you will feel. This is also a small device; a little cube about 6.5” wide and 6.5” high. It fits nicely on a desktop, nightstand, end table, or shelf. I have not experienced any leakage issues. This device also has an inner reservoir in addition to the one on the outside, similar to a Keurig. I suspect some of the leakage issues arise from continuous filling of the tank, which can oversaturate the inner reservoir and lead to leaks. Only refill the tank when it’s totally out of water, in both the outer tank and the inner reservoir. You can set the device to change color to let you know this. Even when the outer tank is empty, the device will continue to cool for about 2-3 hours, drawing on the water inside to do this. So wait until the machine lets you know it’s totally empty before refilling. Tipping it to the side or not keeping it on a totally flat surface may also cause leaks. This can also function as a small fan without any water in it. The one thing I have noticed is that it doesn’t work well as a humidifier so if you are buying it just for that you may want to look elsewhere. The air it creates is cold, and cold air doesn’t hold as much moisture as warmer air. I have a little hygrometer that came with my humidifier and when I set it in front of the device to measure humidity, there was absolutely no change. So if you want more humidity in addition to cooler air, either purchase a different device or use this in conjunction with a humidifier. That said, you don’t want the air to be TOO humid because that will decrease the device’s ability to cool, similar to a “swamp cooler.”
I’m very pleased with my unit. It is compact, easy to use, and very convenient. Being visually attractive and appealing is a plus (in comparison to similar units). Its a personal space air cooler. I keep it right next to my bed to use mainly while I sleep. It helps out on warmer nights. I am very pleased with the unit and have recommended it to my friends and family. My only two complaints would be; the lack of ability to change the brightness of the power/settings button, and not having a timer option. I run it mainly at night so the light can be a bit bright depending on the setting. Also having the ability to set for 2, 3, 4 hour use would be great. Otherwise, I absolutely love it!
I like the device a lot! Turns my workspace from hell to heaven. It really works for the purposes it made - portable air cooler for a small space. This unit is not an air conditioner and does not have a compressor or condenser inside. Evaporative coolers are designed for spot cooling and will not lower a room's ambient temperature. This unit is best used in dry climates or open spaces. For the best performance, you need to keep a window or door open to limit the rise of humidity and for better ventilation. Also as an advice add ice to the tank and set the unit near you.

Only thing keeping me from buying several units (bedroom, office, kitchen) is price. $80-99 is a little steep.
Punches well above it’s weight. Perfect personal cooler. We bought it primarily for our elderly dog who was suffering through the summer heat. Although she is no longer with us the unit is still used as and when/where appropriate. Highly recommend for affordable localised cooling. The only draw back is ensuring the unit is totally dry to store if not using for over 1 week.
