I've done the plug-in (fairly easy), pressing pedal gave no feedback to motor (no revs), unplugged the controler, replug the pedal, startup the car and I went into a "safe mode". All systems are off, no eyesight, no cruise controle, traction, engine light, can drive only at 30kmh max on straight roads, allowed 15% max throttle so I can drive it to the subaru shop. They looked at it for 2-3 hours and sent questions to the enginers at subaru to help them figure out what is wrong with it. Huge fail! This might cost a huge amount if they don't put it under warranty.... to be continued... i want a refund for sure.
Installed mine in a 07 NA Hawkeye wagon.Bought with the hopes of improving throttle response because the stocky DBW system feels a bit lethargic, and it’s difficult to blip the throttle. Definitely makes the car feel a little bit more analogue, but it’s still nothing like a cable throttle.
This product worked really well and fixed my flat spot for throttle response!
I love these, they make a real difference in any drive by wire car, especially Turbo charged cars!

This throttle position controller has been fantastic in my Subaru Outback. It has CVT and this module really smoothes out the lag spots and made it a different car. Highly recommended.
anyone driving a diesel should have one,it stops the bogging down when you take off particularly towing a caravan
