When buying a laptop for study I asked a staff member about needing a bag for it. He initially showed me some of the less expensive options but after stating concerns about how safe they would be in them he asked me what I would like/need. He directed me to this item but did warn me that it wasn't cheap and I did spend some time considering whether it was worth the extra cost.Ive had it for 3 weeks now and am very happy with my purchase. It has multiple pockets so there is no issue taking my laptop, lab books, pens etc and lots of padding to keep my devices safe.It is definately worth the price.

I spent a lot of time researching different backpacks settling on this one (im an IT dip student), it was definitely the right choice for me ^_^Whilst I have only owned a few, it's definitely the best laptop backpack I have ever owned! Fits my 15.6" laptop perfectly (I tend to not use the velcro strap inside).Very comfortable to wear. Quality is superb. Handles being heavy no problem and love the adjustable straps. I can fit a bunch of stuff in it. Even when I didn't think I could fit anything more, somehow it fit.Would certainly recommend this backpack to anyone with similar laptop ^_^I do also recommend looking at the various other models from Everki. They have great videos showcasing their different products, very helpful when choosing one.

This has by far been my favorite bag.Great padding for my laptop, iPad compartment is great for my iPads, even my Surface Pro when I travel with all the toys.Side pockets are extremely handy, especially for carrying snacks.This bag has been all over the country and being checkpoint friendly is heaven sent.Highly recommended!

So far the backpack performs nicely. It's got the expected storage space, gives me the opportunity to keep things nice and tidy, and it's got a soft/non-abrasive and suitable padding for the laptop. It also seems sturdy enough (I used to go for Targus in the past for sturdiness reasons, but they were currently not available in store).The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the shoulder straps keep sliding/lengthening in the adjuster, and the shoulder straps are a bit far apart for the more narrow frame of my body.

This is a rugged, very well made bag with plenty of storage options for different situations. My only gripe with it is the size of the drink bottle holder. Anything larger than a 500ml bottle doesn't sit very securely. They sacrificed usability for adding another zipped compartment, which I feel is unnecessary. Apart from this, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Awesome backpack

A few weeks ago I was struggling to choose between the 14" Alienware Vindicator, the Razer Utility and this one(the Everki Flight), I saw reviews and unboxing videos for all three of them, but the 16" Everki stood up as the best option for laptop/school and traveling.It's a very practical backpack, it has plenty of room for all your stuff, I can easily fit in both my CCNA books, my 15.6" LENOVO IdeaPad Z50-70, one or two notebooks and my lunchbox and still have some room left.It was delivered fast and it came in a big box but when I first saw it in my hands, I thought to myself that it's kind of small sized. Good but ...

Agree totally with the previous reviewer ... the 'scanner friendly' feature looks good but the guys who man the scanners at airports are selected and trained for their LACK of imagination!! I'd be surprised if ANY of them ever said 'Oh that's neat ... off you go!'Far more likely they'll point to the 'Remove laptop' sign and send you to the back of the queue.

The Ultimate Organiser

The ultimate organiser backpack with plenty of pockets for everything. Decent aesthetics with a professional colour scheme. The additional clip-on strap across the chest is great for when you're literally on the run. Only minor things to improve on in my opinion are perhaps to make the side pockets slightly larger and making the body slightly firmer so it doesn't tend to fall over forwards when left standing upright. Overall great backpack.
