Update 7/8/2021: Been playing Red Dead Redemption 2 with everything on max settings, getting a constant 60+ FPS on 2560x1080 (21:9) ultrawide, paired with a Ryzen 3800X 8-core processor. GPU load varies between about 70-85% depending on the environment, temps haven't gone up past 66°C so far. Haven't noticed any coil whine either. Cool and quiet, must have gotten a good one. The only setting I knocked down was tree tessellation because it bumped my GPU load up to ~98% and it doesn't really affect much beyond the details of tree trunks. Obviously this had more of an impact in forest environments in the game. I was fortunate enough to win the Newegg Shuffle and got the card I was dreaming of. Upgrading from a 6-year old GTX 960, the performance is night and day. Fallout 4 and Valheim, and at 2560x1080, both run on max settings with a constant 120+ FPS. The card's fans barely need to turn on with Fallout 4, and I haven't seen the temps go above 54° C. And if you're the type of person who is triggered by RGB lights, you can disable them entirely with EVGA's PrecisionX software, the same software used for overclocking the card. I tried uploading a quick video of some of the lighting settings via Newegg, but the uploader keeps failing. You can see them here: https://youtu.be/fUNwXF08C8U This is by far the biggest card I've owned. It's 2.75 slots thick and nearly a foot long. Make sure to measure your case, if you are lucky enough to get one. I got myself a little GPU support pole and cut it down to the exact size for my case (Corsair 450D) because I didn't want this GPU ruining my PCI slot over time. Thank you, Newegg, and I hope you can find a good GPU in this sad market we're in. The imaginary meme currency crash can't come soon enough.

Inside the case it is a beauty and the design is obviously very good for a 3070's power given my temps I am wondering if 3080 can really be that much higher stock and what same undervolt profiles will do. Big plus with EVGA is their 90 day stepup program so if a 3080ti releases within 90 day time frame I can trade in my 3070 for it and not have to wait or get a 3080 thats extremely difficult to purchase unless you live close enough to a Canada Computers or Memory Express location that is doing in store pickup only in the middle of a pandemic???!

It's a huge leap from 1060 to 3060 and about 20fps from 3060 to 3070ti. I don't think a 3070ti is a good bet for 4k but I have a 2k monitor with 75mhz. I beat the pandemic GPU shortage with Newegg shuffle
25 June 2021

Through Newegg shuffle I managed to successfully acquire what 99% of other people are STILL struggling to get their hands on, an RTX 3xxx series Ampere GPU. The RTX 3070Ti wasn't my first choice for a new GPU but I couldn't pass up the opportunity for an upgrade and something that has eaten away at my mind while also taking up a great deal of my free time to find. Upon arrival I felt a huge weight had finally been lifted off of my shoulders. First impressions, the card absolutely dwarfs my GTX 1070Ti in comparison. I have only ever owned MSI GPUs so as my first EVGA product the build quality is outstanding. Upon arrival I felt a huge weight had finally been lifted off of my shoulders. First impressions, the card absolutely dwarfs my GTX 1070Ti in comparison. I have only ever owned MSI GPUs so as my first EVGA product the build quality is outstanding. Handling the GPU before installation you really get a sense that great care was taken when manufacturing and assembling. After the card clicked into my PCI-E slot it was eerily quiet, time seemed to slow, and I basked in the glory that my build had finally acquired the final piece of the puzzle. Gaming at 1440p 144hz MAX settings in several intensive games the EVGA RTX 3070Ti FTW3 does not disappoint and I was thoroughly impressed with it's performance. Would I recommend this to others? The RTX 3070Ti is one of the least impressive Ti cards Nvidia has released over the years. The RTX 3070Ti is essentially a beefed up RTX 3070 rather than a gimped RTX 3080. This puts it closer to the RTX 3070 in terms of performance. However, I would recommend this particular card to others because of EVGA's factory overclock, build quality, and visual appeal. If you want an astounding 1440p gaming experience and the ability to also dabble in some light 4k gaming then this product is for you. This card will suit me well for years to come and I am finally happy to be enjoying a current generation GPU.

Little disappointed

Has some great features that makes some games look awesome. Mechwarrior 5 and Horizon Zero Dawn both look amazing. However the NVIDIA experience leaves a lot to be desired. It often under-sets the graphics settings for the games and then throws errors when u manually set them. Just easier to set them in game at that point. Also, the software is basically Spyware when u read the agreement. And of course you have to agree to unlock the software features. Despite the first few months struggle with drivers on my 5700XT, the card had been flawless ever since. For the first time in my life, the experience with this NVIDIA card has me pining for an AMD card. Might trade it in for a 6800xt if I can find one.

Runs great and factory OC is very conservative
14 January 2022

Beauty of a card. Installed it in my system yesterday. I game in 2560x1440, and while I'm not playing any of the truly brutal games (i.e. Cyberpunk 2077), what I have in my catalog runs smoothly and comfortably on Ultra settings. Ran OCCT to see how stressing the card would do - temps largely stayed around 75C at 99% load, suggesting that if the card needs to be OC'd beyond what's done at the factory, it could be bumped up from there fairly easily. EVGA software makes it easy to adjust as well. My framerates are fine as is, so I'll leave it where it's at, comfortable that the cooling solution is more than adequate to keep the card safe. Fans ramp up with temperature, so under most less-stressful situations, you don't hear a thing from them.

Surprisingly Cool and Quiet

When the 3070 Ti was announced, I was worried the card would have the same thermal issues that plague many 3080 and 3090 cards due to faster GDDR6X memory. However, even at load, this card runs wonderfully quiet - I cant hear it over other computer noise or the ambient noises in my house. At stock, its core temp rarely goes above 70C, and the memory temperature only bumps 80ish occasionally - warm, but definitely reasonable! Compared to my EVGA 1080 SC it replaced, which got pretty hot and loud under load, this thing is very nice. One thing I really like about it is it has diagnostic LEDs directly on the card. When I first installed it, the card had no picture and the ARGB light bar was off, which was worrying. The light over one of the power ports was lit, and this light indicates that that specific port is not receiving power! In my case it was because one of my cablemod power extensions was defective, and it was very easy to diagnose and remove the extension to solve the issue. Overall great cooling and design by EVGA as always. Its a shame these cards are so difficult to find.

Terrific Graphic Card
30 August 2021

I know GPUs have been in short supply and prices are higher than normal, but the EVGA RTX 3070ti FTW3 is an excellent card. Pros: * More than adequate VRAM for fast and buttery smooth graphics * PCIE4 connection which helps with faster tranfers. * DLSS works great on this card as does GSync * Terrific fan and heatsink setup keeping the card very cool even during long gaming sessions. *The cooling system and fans are fairly quiet until you hit full load. * The RGB looks great and is compatible with several motherboard programs (I use ASUS). Small cons: * The card is very large. If you have a small factor case, this isn't for you. *The weight of the card does cause some sagging. I needed a bracket for mine. *The card does get pretty load at full load. This has been a noticable improvement from a 2070 non-super variant. It hasn't struggled in the least with max settings on Outriders, and DLSS only made that better. Use the quality option over performance though, the later ran very smooth, but the graphics become a little soft and fuzzy looking. I'm running it with 3 monitors, one 2k as the main one, and two 1080p on the sides. It hasn't had and problems so far, and the LEDs look pretty good as well. It takes up two of the pci slots on the back of my tower, but it actually fills in more space behind that as well "girth" wise. Lengthwise, it goes a little ways past my ATX motherboard. I have a midsize tower which accommodates it well, but anyone with a small form tower will likely have to wait for a smaller form ... MoreThis has been a noticable improvement from a 2070 non-super variant. I have a midsize tower which accommodates it well, but anyone with a small form tower will likely have to wait for a smaller form factor variant, or look at a different brand. I got this through the Newegg shuffle, and with several failed attempts with selecting the solo cards, I went with one of the bundles with a psu, and of course that was when it decided I was selected to purchase! Worth the extra in my case, as I could actually use the psu, but these bundles are ineligible for partial returns. Also, the fans are very quiet. If you get lucky enough to get one, you won't be disappointed!
