I have fine hair with greasy roots which I am trying to grow to be waist-length (currently down to mid-back/bottom of ribs) and read about the benefits of boar bristle brushes. I knew LF would have something suitable within budget that wasn't artificial - I wanted real boar bristles or a mix or real and artificial - and also a good price. Would 100% recommend to anyone else either trying to grow their hair or wash it less.

Really good! Nice scalp massage. I was worried that it would be too soft but it is just right. I only use water to wash my hair and this brush works great for distributing my natural oils through my hair.

Love the brush, it's like getting a head massage each time I use it.Unfortunately I've found a few loose bristles in the 2 weeks I've had the brush, I hope that's not a sign of things to come. Time will tell.
I received this as a Christmas gift and it is perfect for my hair. I have fine but long hair and it does a great job of softly combing through knots and tangles as well as giving overall shine. I don't believe it would be suitable for thick hair but works perfect on thin and fine hair. I also like the wooden handle and overall size of the brush. Good for at home, probably a bit bog for your handbag.
Was thinking of taking the plunge to get a Mason Pearson hairbrush when I saw this brand. 1 year later, and no regrets whatsoever. Excellent job of distributing oils down my hair shaft (medium thickness, black, asian hair) and gives some volume at the scalp. I alternate between this and a horn comb depending on the situation. Highly recommended.

I would 100% recommend this brush for anyone else either trying to grow their hair or wash their hair less.
Beautiful wooden handle and great size.It feels lovely on my scalp and is very effective in distributing the natural oils, but sadly in my case, this results in my fine hair appearing very oily much sooner than normal (ie second day instead of fourth day after shampooing). Perhaps I’m using it wrong?
After searching for ages I've finally found a good priced boar bristle brush, I feel so happy that I am looking after my hair after so much damage to it, I can see the results, its a lot shinier and smoother, It's not too hard on the scalp either. Just make sure to clean it regularly
Beautiful color wood, and solid handle. The brush feels nice through my hair and the bristles are stiff. However I do have quite thick (and a lot of) hair and the bristles don't feel quite long enough to get through all my hair well enough unless applying pressure. Also isn't the best if you have tangles in the hair. Based on this experience I'd probably go back to a paddle brush with just pins. I think would suit someone who doesn't have overly thick hair only due to the bristle length.
