The brush is great; good solid construction. I love the natural wood and bristle. The only improvement I would make to it is the handle is a bit thin and not comfortable to grip. Make the handle a bit thicker with better grip.

Boy what a difference boar bristles make on my hair! I have been using GHD brushes, which are good quality and definitely speed up the blowdrying process, but end up leaving my hair slightly frizzy and going back to it's natural texture very quickly. This brush by EVO is great quality. My hair was a lot shinier and kept its blow-dried look for longer. Absolutely love! One thing to note is that this a large brush. If you have medium to long hair, this brush is perfect for give you a straight look or slight waves. But if you want to create body and waves more easily I would go for the smaller size.

Is very suitable for fine hair, because the brush does not tangle and does not scratch on the koofhaut. Makes the hair even shinier.

Great round brush
8 May 2021

I was looking to upgrade my brushes and, with fine hair, I wanted to get brushes to help me get a better blow dry. I was drawn to the Evo line because they seemed to be good quality, had a variety of different brushes and combs and are just plain pretty for a coordinated set! The Bruce line tick all the boxes - the boar bristle is densely packed, the brush isn't not too heavy, it has a sectioning pick and a comfortable handle. I did find it shed during my first two uses but that seems to have stopped. I've always owned at least one boar-bristle radial brush but I think quality makes a big difference, as the result I'm getting from my Bruce is far better. I get less volume than with a ceramic vented brush but noticeably more shine. I've always owned at least one boar-bristle radial brush but I think quality makes a big difference, as the result I'm getting from my Bruce is far better. I get less volume than with a ceramic vented brush but noticeably more shine. I can get the best of both worlds by using a Hank brush first to add volume, smooth and dry the section; and, with the hair still hot, I put the hairdryer down and grab a Bruce to run through the section several times until its cool. It's a trick a hairdresser taught me - the cold bristle brush helps to get the curl in, set the section and add shine, and it's easier to do at home yourself. The Bruce 28 is great to get a good wave/curl into the hair. Easy to work with. Highly recommended for medium-long hair.

Great value

I cannot rave about EVO brushes enough, they are strong unlike plastic and great quality! Perfect for my sometimes unruly hair. I believe its worth the money to invest in a long lasting brush.

Hair game changer!
8 May 2021

I was a little unsure if I needed this brush but after one use I was convinced. I recently started bleaching my hair and noticed the damage. This brush has really helped with dry ends and styling. For the first time, I have started to enjoy brushing my hair

Just what I've been looking for
8 May 2021

This brush is a great all rounder, from producing straight to bouncy blow dries and gliding through the hair seamlessly. It also does a fine job in dispersing the oil from the roots down to the rest of the hair or creating a slick ponytail.

Perfect for my fine hair
8 May 2021

This brush has revolutionized the way I style my hair. I have very fine, thin hair and it wasn't until I started using this brush that I have been able to style it effortlessly without having to use a straightener. It grips my hair well but doesn't pull or snare as some brushes can. It comes with a great pic which is perfect for removing stray hairs that get stuck in the brush. I also use it to part my hair sometimes. I think this brush is well worth the money and I am so glad I purchased it!

Prefer this to Mason Pearson
8 May 2021

My fine and thin hair tends to become flyaway or static when I brush it. Not with the Bruce. I also have a Mason Pearson brush but prefer this one as it is much more versatile and heaps easier to clean. That's important because my hair is also prone to oiliness and any product residue transferred from a brush weighs it down.

This brush has solved my
19 October 2019

This brush has solved my frizzy hair issues. Also, being all bristle, there's no plastic knobs falling off to pollute the environment. My hair is thick and the bristles are very soft so it's taking some getting used to. I may have to get a firmer brush as well.
