This is a great fan. Lots of power, metal blades and a weighted base to keep it balanced. Wouldnt recommend for small rooms unless you like a hurricane in your face.

The actual works great. Putting is together was a hassle because the manual was incomplete and the fittings didn't have all the necessary holes. So it's all put together by pressure only.
A sturdy pedestal fan compared to other cheaper fans of Similar design. Cools off very well, run for long hours, very low noise. Happy with the service
I got this fan after buying & returning another one to a different retailer that over heated after it's first use! I haven't had this one for long, so don't know how it will go long term. I bought it for my son's room who sleeps to the noise of a fan. This fan,however, turned out to be too powerful for that! So I've put it in the loungeroom & went back to the Good Guys to buy the cheaper kambrook one for his room - which is quieter & not as strong breeze. It's been great for that. The Ewt fan that I'm reviewing here also has a heavy weight in the base so it's very stable - which might be a plus for some. I'm happy we have both fans! Hope this helps someone!
This fan performs all the functions we wanted - oscillation and different speeds - and is relatively quiet. It also looks really nice being the black colour. A bit more stylish and fits into decor more nicely than the standard white colours. Overall very happy with our purchase so far.
Features include a manual dial knob to set fans speed.A manual dial to use oscillation.I did find putting the fan together beyond my capabilies.Base is awkward for those with reduced hand dexterity.The product however is good.
This is not really a criticism of the fan because I didn't get to use it properly. In the store the demo fan was reasonably powerful and looked good. When I opened the box it was obvious that it had already been returned as it wasn't packaged correctly. It was quite simple to assemble but had very little power once I turned it on. Returned for a full refund and purchased a different fan as there was no replacement available on the shelf.
I'm one of these people that can only sleep with a fan on. Wow this is the best, strong air and loud enough to drown out noises, but not loud to keep me awake.
