Obviously doesn't heat up as quickly as the bulb alternative so this would be great if this was powered by a separate source to the UV bulb so you can leave it on all the time. It does what it says it does on the box.

I prefer the ceramic bulbs for my tortoise as it doesn’t make her confused over night and day time. When her UV light turns off that’s it it’s night time, there is no light that comes on and off when the temp drops in her viv.Good bulb, really nice size

I bought this Ceramic Heat Emitter after I had searched literally forever for the best one & I read every review possible!! I came across this exact CHE and of course researched it. It had the best options, the most important information and the greatest qualities Id been looking for. I use the 100 watt for my Bearded Dragon every night to provide the needed constant temperature he requires. I also use it during the day as needed if I need to increase the temp in his tank. Its high quality in maintenance, durability and longevity!! Id absolutely recommend you get this particular CHE for your rep/herp/amphibs, because there's no other one as qualified as this Exo Terra Heat Wave CHE..! :)
When I was eventually send a third working bulb, it's a really good ceramic heat bulb.
Product was exactly what I ordered and keeps my tortoise tank at a much better, constant temperature than previous lights I have brought. Very slim bit large in diameter so the heat is better distributed.
